Well All i can say if this swine flu does lose control and 400' date='000 people do die your best bet is to

a) Stay out of overcrowded places AKA town centre, Tourist attractions

b)wear protective clothing Eg. Face mask/Gas mask , gloves , And an Janitors overall of some sort , also a helmet and bubble wrap could substitute for all of the above...

c)Eat your own head!

d)catch it and Hopefully live...

[/quote']

You know, in Singapore right now, our face masks are all out of stock because the people there are all so kiasu/"afraid to lose" and bought many of them already.

Note: Among Asian countries, only South Korea and Hong Kong have it.

Excactly,190 people have died worldwide in 1 week yet Human flu kills 7,000 in one country every 5 months

It is worth remembering that seasonal flu often poses a serious threat to public health: each year it kills 250,000 - 500,000 around the world.

36,000 die of flu every year, in the US alone. So far (updated May 6 00:30 GMT), there are 31 confirmed deaths caused by swine flu. Globally. For you to decide whether we are talking of a pandemic or a media hype.

The media just make it act like its something to worry about, well it isn't.Like Amythest Phoenix said you are more likely to die in a car crash.

The swine flu is just like an ordinary flu, the only reason so many people died in Mexico was because they were poor and didn't have the money to care for it. Only 1 person died in the US and it was a 4 month old baby living near the border of Mexico in Texas, so... yeah

You cannot get immune to the Flu from just one jab, hence Flu jabs are best done annually (UK). This combats variations that the virus presents in just that year. Its not the same flu virus, its the same with a cold, you can't catch the same strain twice, but can get different strains of Colds and Flu, its all in the Viral DNA.

Spartan there was 2nd confirmed US death. This time an American.

Fixed.

The H1N1 is not even close to the flu, so why even try to think it's even more harmful than the regular flu? No way there are even 10,000 died of H1N1 yet.

I live in the far West of Germany, and I know no one person to have it. Well.

Stop complaining, and be glad it isn't you...
