Conditions:

Zenqued and I were talking about a one on one. I decided to play on my terms so we both had to create 1 Sonic card. The winner gets 3 reps. This contest ends on 5/6/09.

This card cannot be Special Summoned or Set. When this card is Summoned or changes Battle Positon, place 1 Ring Counter on it. If there are 1 or more Ring Counters on this card, this card cannot be destroyed by battle. When this card would be destroyed by battle, remove all Ring Counters from it instead. Then flip a coin. If the result is heads, place Ring Counters on this card equal to half the Ring Counters you removed (rounded down). If the result is tails, place no Ring Counters on this card. This card can attack twice per Battle Phase. If this monster destroys 2 monsters your opponent controls during the same Battle Phase, place 1 Speed Counter on this card (max 3). This card can attack 1 more time per Battle Phase for each Speed Counter on it.

While another 'Defenders of Mobius' monster is face-up on the field, your opponent cannot activate Spell Cards. This card can attack twice during the same Battle Phase if no monsters are face-up on your field except this card. When this card inflicts Battle Damage to your opponent you can flip a coin. If heads, inflict 500 damage to your opponent. If tails, your opponent sends the top card from their Deck to the Graveyard. While the face-up Field Spell Card "Mobius" is on the field, this card cannot be destroyed by battle. When this card is destroyed, you can search for 1 Level 4 or lower "Defenders of Mobius" monster in your Deck and Special Summon it to your field. Then shuffle your Deck.

Well, since no one is voting, i'll give it a shot.

Disclaimer* - "This is my opinion"

- Both cards are a little OP for me. Seems like both are are indestructible.

- What i noticed is that both cards have indestructible, Coin Flip, and can attack more than once effects. So i guess this are your terms.

- I don't like both pics. But i like Sonic

Sonic The Hedgehog: I don't see the value of more than 1 Ring Counter on it so why not place (max. 1)

Defenders Of Mobius - Sonic The Hedgehog: I can't really say if that card is a little OP'd or OP'd. "Mobius" is a separate card which does not belong in this competition since this is a single card contest. So that is a "minus". I think that card would have been better if it was a Level 5 or 6.

I won't be mentioning the card maker. Honestly, i just looked at the cards without looking who made it and decided.

My vote goes to "Sonic The Hedgehog" card.

bump

we have a problem

the poll was added late, and it shows us as 2-3. I have two written votes that were there before the poll, and idk if those votes are on the poll or not. I should PM Nighthawk and Pitski and see if they voted in the poll

ZenQued:

Balance: U-B-E-R__B-R-O-K-E-N. Indestructable. And it will only become indestructable again with the coin flipping effect (if it went in your favor). And performing an additional attack for each speed counter on it?.. when it already attacks twice per battle phase? That can do up to 11,000 damage in one turn -> OTK - 5/10

OCG: This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. When this card is Special Summoned or changes Battle Positon, place 1 Ring Counter on it. If there are 1 or more Ring Counters on this card, it cannot be destroyed by battle. If this card would be destroyed by battle, remove all Ring Counters from it instead. Then flip a coin. If the result is heads, place Ring Counters on this card equal to half the Ring Counters you removed by this effect (rounded down). If the result is tails, place no Ring Counters on this card. This card can attack twice during each of your Battle Phases. If this card destroys 2 monsters your opponent controls during the same Battle Phase, place 1 Speed Counter on this card (max 3). This card can attack once more during each of your Battle Phases for each Speed Counter on it. - 7/10

Pic: Some text in the lower right corner, but it fits. - 4.5/5

Other: Set ID is wrong; should be 4 characters in the first part (1st 2 are always letters), then "EN", followed by 3 numbers in the second part. - 3.5/5

Total: 20/30

.:Super Sonic_Zach:.

Balance: Seems like a win-win situation with the coin flipping effect. It's also get the indestructability and multiple attacks, but it not really that broken (compared to the first card). - 8.5/10

OCG: While another "Defenders of Mobius" monster is face-up on the field, your opponent cannot activate Spell Cards. This card can attack twice during the same Battle Phase if there are no other monsters are face-up on your field except this card. When this card inflicts Battle Damage to your opponent, you can flip a coin. If heads, inflict 500 damage to your opponent. If tails, your opponent sends the top card from his/her Deck to the Graveyard. - 8.5/10

Pic: Like the 1st card, some text in it, but it fits. - 4.5/5

Other: Same thing I said about ZenQued's Card. - 3.5/5

Total: 25/30

.:Super Sonic_Zach:. wins.
