Spellcaster Support Cards: Please Rate+Comment

I would really appreciate your opinion on these cards. Disclaimer: I do not own any of the images on these card artworks, these images are from http://www.wizards.com/Magic/Multiverse/

 

This is a new card type: "Mirror". This monster type are like Gemini Monsters except these cards can be switched from being treated from a monster to a Spell or Trap Card.

Effect: "This card cannot be Special Summoned. This card is unaffected by Spell Cards. Once per turn, while face-up on the field you can Special Summon this card as a monster or you can activate this card in your Spell & Trap Card Zone as a Continuous Spell Card with the following effect: If a face-up Spellcaster-Type monster(s) on the field would be destroyed, you can remove 1 Spell Counter from a card you control for each of those monsters instead."

Effect: "Each time you remove Spell Counters from a card(s) you control (Except this card), place Spell Counters on this card equal to the number of Spell Counters that were removed from that card(s). If you would activate a card's effect by removing a Spell Counter(s) from cards you control, you can remove Spell Counters from this card instead. If this card would be destroyed, you can remove 1 Spell Counter from this card instead."

I really like the "Mirror" idea and that "Magical City of Spellcasters" would be great in a Spellcaster deck (maybe slightly OP'd).

I give you a 8/10 for both cards.
