Sand Gambler smirked. "The dark soul army? I see..." He gambler chuckled, once again flicking his coins idly. "Perhaps I would. What would this army of dark souls have to offer a simple gambler such as myself?" He chuckled. "For one such as myself, with an attribute bathed in Light, it generally doesn't go well to be accepted into organizations with Dark in the title." He said mischievously.

OOC: Yes. Apps are still being accepted.

Kyzak gets up and thanks the robot, "Thank you." he looks at some of the wreckage, "Oh boy... this entire conflict is so out of hand..." he looks through his things, "Damnit it all! They took my... ergh!" he closes his small bag. He simply looks at the Gambler and the Eclipse Knight, "Hold it right there you two. I don't want things getting out of hand now. Speaking of hands, perhaps we should draw 5 into ours and end it the way things should always end?"

"We have taken over 40% of the Spirit World. We only have to wipe out the Dark World army and a few other smaller countries. You seem... rather intelligent."

Firestorm nodded, but still said nothing.

"You could easily be a higher ranking officer if you met our King. He could single handedly wipe out several different army battaltions... but chooses not to because Colorless is stronger then him. So, what do you say?"

Sand Gambler glanced at the human that had interrupted him. He flicked a a coin and chuckled as he caught it in mid air. "The way things should always end? Ah... life's a game, and soon enough, we all lose. It's all a matter of when and where you fall out of Lady Luck's good graces."

He glanced back at the Dark Soul warriors. "Could I now? I see, I see..." He chuckled slightly. "But I never trust my own judgment, never. I'm ever so fickle. So instead, I'll place my fate into Lady Luck's hands; and I'll even give you an advantage. Here's how it'll work... I'll toss each of you two a coin, and myself one. If my result matches either of yours, I'll join you. If it doesn't, I won't. See? Easy."

He grinned, and flicked both the strong monsters one of his three coins, tossing the last one high in the air.

Sand Gambler smirked. "I didn't become one of the greatest gamblers of all Duel Spirits by being pampered, human. Only one other has ever bested me in a test of chance..." He paused as the coin fell down, landing softly in his palm. "Heads, unfortunately, though I expected that. It's a double-headed coin."

He flicked it around to show them that it indeed had two heads. "You two have normal coins, of course, but I must have mixed my trick one in with my usual bag accidentally. That's puzzling... I can't go against Lady Luck's Judgment, ...but neither can I say it was a fair test. Hmm..." He paused, then clapped his hands. "...But, there is one solution. If one game did not work, how about another?" He took out his deck and shuffled it. "There's two of you... and there's myself and the human. Here's my offer- a casual, four-way duel, with myself and the human and you two as the teams. If you win, I'll join; if not, I won't. That is, if the human has no objections..."

He smiled earnestly.

(OOC- Euch, I just had to type that just as he mentioned he had to go...)

Sand Gambler smiled. "Wonderful, one-on-one. You won't have the interest benefit of me being paired with a human, but there you go." He smiled, and tossed his double-headed coin to Eclipse. "In order to ensure I'm not cheating, of course." He smirked,

and pulled out a third normal coin with the other two.

He placed the coins in his pocket, and held out his arm as a Duel-Spirit Disk appeared there, his deck loaded. "As we're both Duel Spirits, I'd like to make one little rule known... at any time during our turns, we can summon ourselves to the field, regardless of summoning conditions we may have or without the cards themselves. However, of course, if you are removed from the field after summoning yourself, the opponent automatically wins. If we happen to have a card of ourselves, we can summon that as a regular monster without the threat of losing if its taken from the field. Savvy?"

(OOC- Mind putting the cards you use in a Spoiler Tag? I've seen your Dark Soul cards before, naturally, but its easier to keep track that way.)

Sand Gambler drew five cards from his deck.

[Draw Phase]

He picked up another card and checked them, apparently thinking. "Jester, eh? That Jester's got a bit of bite for his profession."

[Main Phase 1]

He smirked slightly.

"But I've got one with more. I summon Bandito Dragon."

There was a pause as an odd creature appeared. It was a bipedal, armless machine dragon with a single gun barrel instead of a head- It appeared identical to a more-commonly known Blowback Dragon, except for three factors. First of all, this one appeared to have been painted Black- Secondly, a white scarf was tied around its 'neck', and trailed backward in the invisible breeze. Finally, unlike a normal Blowback Dragon, it appeared to have a Flamethrower nozzle attached beside the normal Barrel.

It screeched much like a raptor. (1900/1200)

"...He may not look MUCH it, but Bandito Dragon here is nothing but a bootleg, pirated version of the REAL Blowback Dragon. But he's real enough, so since I Normal Summoned him, I can Special Summon this from my hand. Reload Dragon."

A second monster appeared, this one metallic grey and quite tiny- only coming up to the Duel Spirit's knees. It made a high-pitched screech at

Firestorm, as it appeared to cock itself; the top portion of the monster appeared to be part of a Handgun, with a ridiculously huge bullet magazine in the back.

"I'll follow that up with two face downs, and end my turn."

Two card reverses appeared behind the two metal dragons, and

Sand Gambler waved his hand. "Your go."

[End Phase]

[sand Gambler- 8000LP ; Hand-2]

[spoiler=Cards Used]

Bandito Dragon

Level 4 - Dark

[Machine/Effect]

During either player's Standby Phase, you may toss a coin.

if Heads, increase this card's Atk by 500. If Tails, decrease this card's

Atk by 500. Treat this card's name as 'Blowback Dragon' while it is

in your Graveyard, Hand, or face-up on the field.

Atk/1900 Def/1200

Reload Dragon

Level 4 - Dark

[Machine/Effect]

You may Special Summon this card from your hand to the field if, this turn,

you Normal Summoned a 'Blowback Dragon' or 'Barrel Dragon' from your hand.

While this card is face-up on the field, once per turn, if the effect of a face-up

DARK Machine-type monster resulted in at least one Tails, you may negate that

card's effect and redo the coin toss. This effect does not apply to the effect of

another 'Reload Dragon'.

Atk/1600 Def/1700

OOC: Sure.

"Two face-down cards... I should be careful. I draw... Hm. Not bad. I summon Dark Soul Soldier to the field in attack position. Her effect allows me to add one "Dark Soul" card from my deck to my hand... I choose Dark Soul. By the effect of Dark Soul, I can Special Summon him. I then send my 3 monsters to the Grave and take 3000 damage to Special Summon Dark Soul General. His ability allows me to, once per turn, increase my LP by the amount of Dark Soul monsters in my Grave. Thats 2100. I then use his ability to summon Dark Soul Skull King and take 1000 damage, who will attack your Reload Dragon.

[spoiler=cards used]

When this card is Normal Summoned, add one "Dark Soul" card from your deck to your hand. This card can attack your opponent directly. During your End Phase, your opponent either adds one card from their Graveyard to their hand or you take 3000 damage.

10822g.jpg

This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card can only be Special Summoned by tributing 3 "Dark Soul" monsters and taking 3000 damage. Once per turn, gain 700 Life Points for every "Dark Soul" monster in your Graveyard. Also, you can Special Summon any "Dark Soul" monsters from your hand or Deck. If you do, take 1000 damage for every card Special Summoned by this effect. This damage cannot be reduced.

Sand Gambler held up a finger. "First things first, my Bandito Dragon's effect activates at your Standby Phase."

Sand Gambler flipped a coin, grabbed it, and showed the result "Tails, unfortunately... but no matter. Reload Dragon's effect doesn't discriminate between your turn and mind, so I'll use his effect to redo Bandito Dragon's coin toss."

The tiny dragon paused for a second as its magazine glowed, and a ball of energy transferred itself to Bandito Dragon, who seemed revitalized.

Sand Gambler nodded, and tossed another coin. "...Heads, this time."

Bandito Dragon screeched as its Flamethrower erupted, lighting it nearly on fire. (2400/1700)

He nodded, and waited for Firestorm to continue her turn.

He smirked, and flicked a lock of hair out of his eyes when the Skull King lurched towards Reload. "Activate Fairy Box." He said, smirking. He flicked a coin. "Tails." He said idly, as if bored. The coin landed in his hand; he didn't even have to look at it to know it was tails.

Reload Dragon was covered by a Wack-a-Mole style box. Skull King seemed confused and struck at one of the bobbing Reload Dragons of the box, missing completely. Snicking, a Reload Dragon across the box shot a charge from his barrel, obliterating him.

Sand Gambler smirked. "Luck wasn't favoring you, I suppose."

LP damage- 1600

[Firestorm= 6400 LP]

"From my hand, I activate Shadow Duelist's Aura. This card allows me, by sending 3 cards from the top of my deck to the Graveyard, prevent all monsters I control from being destroyed in battle. Also, I take half the battle damage I normally would. So, lets try this again, shall we? Skull King, attack!"

[spoiler=card used]

10822qlh.jpg

Activate only if you control a DARK monster. Send 3 cards from the top if your deck to the Graveyard. All DARK monsters you control cannot be destroyed by battle this turn and all damage you take is halved. During the End Phase of this turn, draw one card from your deck for every monster that battled this turn.
