Hello everyone, being concerned about if dragons have actually existed in the past,I bumped into something very intersting.

It is a scientific theory explaining how dragons could actually breath fire.

It was found on the site HERE BE DRAGONS.

HOW DO THEY BREATH FIRE?

It all starts when the dragon catch their prey. When dragons eat, they digest the food in a regular stomach. The digestion then continues in a second stomach that breaks down the food even further. After the dragon's body has used all it can from the second digestion, the body then turns the leftover food and acid into a byproduct of hydrogen. The dragon can hold the hydrogen in various large glands in it's body for later use, and can call upon it at any time it needs to. When the dragon needs to belch it's flame, the glands release the hydrogen into the lungs where it mixes with other various chemicals the body creates. Once this mixture finds oxygen, it burns extremely hot, and very quick. The dragon usually has enough hydrogen in its body for about three spits of flame, but that should be plenty for anything coming up against a large red dragon. This explanation is about the same for dragons that breath other types of breath. Their bodies just break down food into different compounds.

Cool story' date=' Bro! i think discovery channal did a what if dragons rly existed

[/quote']

Yes they did, infact I've seen it twice. Although they based on the consumption of a certain mineral, related the Hydrogen to flight, but appeared to believe that they could breathe more fire, which is useful in battles of domination. It also explained why they came up with this theory.

I believe that the metal they mentioned was platinum. That was a great special.

dragon do exist. On the far side of the sun where we cant see it' date='scientets belive that there is a planet called "anti-earth"..........O_O

[/quote']

Can I have some of whatever you're injecting a pint of into your arm each day?

I'm going to sell it to orphans in Thailand and laugh as shenanigans unfold.

Hm...even if dragons do exists, I would see them not fire-breathing.

That was just some myth portrayed by the dumb medieval knights to make themselves look godly to the people.

Thousands of years later, Hollywood would the same myth for the gain of profit.

While dragons are awesome' date=' there is no proof that they exist.

While this is a logical explanation for how they could breathe fire, it doesn't prove anything. Star Wars has a couple hundred books giving logical explanations for how everything would work, but it's still fake.

Well it could be, but it is like 1/1000000000

I mean, think about it there are so many islands uncovered, you never know what you'll find.

Not that i'm saying they excist, but they're finding new animal species every year, seriously: think about it.

I hae seen this one in TV. Btw, you missed an important part, for the chemical reaction to start, you need Platinium as a catalysator. In the article I have seen, they explained that with why dragons prefer vulcanic regions -> to find some platinium ;)

These explanations were interesting, and really, there must be a reason why so many different cultures have dragons.
