Skuldur
Patchouli was walking carelessly through the halls of the Scarlet Mansion. Thinking about her victory against Remilia and the look on her face when Flandre asks her what the men in the book are doing. She smiled at her own brilliance. Suddenly, a little girl flew directly at her and knocked her on the ground. "Miss Patchouli, can you fix Foresight for me? Please? With tea and cake on top?" the little girl who turned out to be Flandre asked. Patchouli was getting really irritated that whenever a toy broke she would ask her to fix it. Just because of her name. “Flandre, for the 97th time, I’m not a toy fixer. It’s just a name; it doesn’t indicate what I’m good at.” Then she noticed a bulge under Flandre’s clothes. It seemed like a book but she couldn’t be sure. “Is that one of my books?”
Amethyst Phoenix
"Nooooooooo" Flandre guiltily replied to Patchouli's query. "Now, fix Foresight or I'll make your hat go boom." declared Flandre, with a twinkle in her eye and an endearing look. Flandre's eyes started to glow a deep crimson as she handed the 2 halves of her sundered owl to Patchouli. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ "That was good cake, Sakuya" remarked Remilia, licking her fingers. "Sakuya?" Remilia surveyed the room. Her chief maid was nowhere to be found. Bored, she walked over to the stack of books she had lifted from the library and picked one up. Opening the book revealed a sight that Remilia had certainly not expected. After a particularly horrified recoil, she sighed, cautiously looked around her, and walked off with the books. "This is going to be a fun night" Remilia said to herself as she flew down the halls to her room.
Marly
OoC: Uhm. How does yaoi exist in Gensokyo if the only males are Rinnosuke and the turtle? ...Don't answer that. IC: Mieling was clunching her stomach where the knives had pierced her. Why did I have to get stuck with this job? she thought to herself in dismay as she wobbled over to her guarding position. She promptly plopped down on the grass to rest. After a few moments, she was out of it, asleep. Sakuya frowned in disgust. "How could she sleep with sun out, not to mention the knives in her stomach." That's when she realized, the sun wasn't out, in it's place was a blob of darkness. "Rumia?" She said jokingly walking over to Mieling, pulling the knives out of her stomach, which in turn woke her up. Mieling began to scramble around, terrified that Sakuya had caught her asleep again. Sakuya rarely passed on a chance to torture Mieling, but decided the priority as to inform Mistress Scarlet of the strange sun. She'll be delighted. As Sakuya traveled through The Scarlet Mansion to Remilia's room, she noticed Patchouli and Flandre arguing over a ripped stuff bear. Sakuya, sighing, walked over to them and turned to Flandre. "Oh Flan, did mean ol' Patchy break your toy? I'll fix it in no time." Sakuya said cheerfully, pulling out a hand needle and sewing the bear to perfection. This would usually take about an hour, but Sakuya had frozen time to quicken things up a bit. "Here you go." Sakuya smiled, handing the bear to Flandre. "Well, I best be off now, can't keep Mistress Remilia waiting." When Sakuya finally reached Remilia's room, she knocked loudly and proclaimed "Mistress Scarlet, I have great news!" Amethyst Phoenix
"Yay!" shouted Flandre as she jubilantly hugged her now whole plush friend. Giggling happily, Flandre rushed back to her room in the basement. Exhausted, she collapsed onto her bed and, with Foresight at her side, drifted off to sleep. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Remilia opened her door to a bizarre look from Sakuya. "Oh, right. Just whipping up something to punish China for sleeping on the job again" explained Remilia, gesturing to a fishing pole bearing an overly long line with an open book tied to it. "She'll get quite the shock when I wake her with a nudge of the line and she wakes up to this image in her face." proclaimed the vampire with sadistic glee. Sakuya's shock melted into a very relieved sigh. "Anyway, you look like you have something to tell me. Out with it then." added Remilia, her wings flapping in anticipation. OOC: Marly, it was a stuffed owl, not a bear XDAnd what did you think I was going to have Remilia do with the yaoi, hmm?Perverts >_>
Zexaeon
Rumia, who had yet to locate her good friend Cirno so as to steal away the power of the Scarlet Devil (she had somehow come to the conclusion that she was now after Remilia's power, and not her Cake), had taken no notice of the strange "Incident" involving the sun, due mostly to the fact that she was wrapped in darkness again, and thus couldn't see a thing. However, her butterfly servant, who existed in her imagination, continually assured her that she could see just fine, and it was the darkness that was blind. Somehow, that managed to make sense to her. Inexplicably, she managed to find her way to the Misty Lake, Cirno's home. Lowering her blanket of darkness, she finally notcied it was still dark out. "It must already be night time, Lady Rumia." "Is that so~?" However, according to the clouds in the sky, who could sing to Rumia, it was still daytime. Finally, she noticed the sun. "Oh! Lady Rumia! Truly this is a blessing! With the sun no longer meddling, you can reign over the world as Queen of Darkness, Butterflies, and Flowers! But you musn't forget your quest - you must tak the Scarlet Devil's mystic jewel (there's a new one), and you must usurp Queen Yuyuko as lady of the Butterflies!" Clearly, Rumia was far off the deep end. Probably at the bottom of the pool. None the less, she nodded happily. "Ciiiirno~" she called, flying around the lake in search of her blue fairy partner. Cirno was the strongest - she would definitely help! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- "What a scoop! What a scoop!" Aya happily chimed as she rushed off in the direction of the Hakurei Shrine. "The sun going out? Obviously, this is another incident! Reimu~, Marisa~, you two are going to help me get to the bottom of this! Heheheheh!" she cackled, holding up a few blackmailing photos of the girls in question as she increased her speed. She just HAD to find Reimu and Marisa! This was bigger than when the fake moon hung above Gensokyo!
Freeshooter
Iku was peacefully resting in the clouds above Hakurei Shrine, gazing at it from above. Ikus eyes widened in interest when she saw a young girl rushing towards the shrine, cackling. "Oooh, this looks fun~!" Iku said, with a touch of obvious evil showing in her voice. Iku flew down, just barely hovering high enough that nobody could see her floating along.--------------------"I guess..." Koakuma gulped in despair, as Miss Patchouli had warned her to never leave the Library. "Oh well, here goes..." Koakuma gulped once again and burst through the doors. "Miss Patchouli!" Koakuma could still not find her superior. She happened to stumble down a certain hallway, noticing Sakuya knocking on Remilias door. Her! Koakumas eyes turned to slits with disgust at the maid. I guess I ought to return the favor! Koakuma threw the knife she had cut herself with straight at Sakuyas head, then ran away looking for her teacher. Marly
OoC: Uhm. Zex, could I take off/switch Yukari with Marisa? I could swear I chose her instead of Yukari, whom I know little to nothing about. D: *Another example of my Cirno-ness* I just realized it when I was about to make a post as her, and I saw that I wasn't her. (I spent a good 20 minutes thinking up/writing that post too. >>) IC: "Hmm?" Sakuya questioned as she could hear a sound cut the air behind her. She quickly turned around and saw one of her knives flying at her. She simply froze time, and picked it up in mid-air. Thinking it was probably some sort of game Flan was playing, she shrugged it off and put the knife in her pocket. She resumed her conversation with Remilia. "Come with me, Mistress Scarlet." Sakuya said as she grabbed the Scarlet Devil by her arm. "You'll be able to roam freely during the day now," Sakuya walked her over to the entrance of the mansion, opening the door which brought in no light. -Character Transition.- Meiling was asleep again. Her head up against the fence that surrounded the Scarlet Mansion. This was her usually schedule, sleep, get bullied by Sakuya, sleep, and repeat. Nothing out of the ordinary usually happens, except maybe an intruder passing by her, but they were usually handled by Sakuya. Who, in turn, would bully her. Then again, she would probably bully her either way. But today was a bit different, the door to the Scarlet Mansion burst open, awakening Meiling. To her surprise, Remilia, whom was usually very vunerable to light, was standing where the door stood. "M-miss Scarlet!" She said, startled, hoping that her expression didn't give away the fact that she was sleeping on the job. "Why are you out at such a time, vampires are vunerable to the su-" That's when it hit Meiling, the sun was non-existent. Instead, there was a dark blob. "Oh. Was this your doing, Remilia?" Meiling asked curiously.

Amethyst Phoenix
"No, China, it was not." answered Remilia as she did a flip through the air. It is great to be outside whenever I please thought Remilia, obviously happy with the situation. After pondering what fun could be had, Remilia decided on a course of action. "Come on Sakuya, we're traveling to the human village." "Why, mistress?" inquired Sakuya. "Thirsty" was the Scarlet Devil's reply as she licked her lips. As Remilia took off, she turned to Meiling. "If anyone gets past you, especially little sister, you will be playing in the basement for a week." Satisfied that her not so empty threat was motivation enough for Hong, she flew off towards the human village. As she soared onwards, Remilia smiled. Time for some fun! Plaguespreader Zombie
Cirno, was asleep at the time Rumia was calling her, and of course, did not want to be bothered. She heard Rumia's voice in the distance, and ignored it. But when it became louder she started to get annoyed. She woke up from her slumber, and procceded to look for Rumia, and teach her a lesson. She's gonna get taught a lesson! I'm the Strongest! she thought to herself. When she found Rumia, she noticed she was acting strange, but just brushed it off. "Well, what do you want Rumia?" She questioned, annoyed.
Zexaeon
Rumia grinned her big dopey grin at the Ice fairy after having finally found her - or, being found. "Cirno~! Look at the sky! The sun is gone, which is a good omen. And guess what? I found out I'm the butterfly Queen, and with your help, we can beat up the Scarlet Devil and take her power! Think about it!" Clearly, her explanation made perfect sense. And thus, Cirno was sure to believe her. "And with the sun out, I can be super powerful, and we can take over the world! Cirno~!" Plaguespreader Zombie
Cirno was tired, and hardly listened to a word she said, but firmly agreed on it without a second thought. Zexaeon
"See? I knew you'd see it my way!" Rumia announced with glee. "According to my Butterfly friend, we should be obtaining the Precious Thing first, which will let us take the current Butterfly Queen's powers away! TO THE SHRINE!" Rumia then turned, flying through the forest of magic, assuming Cirno would follow. "Now that the strongest is on my side, no one can stop us~." Marly
Marisa was scrummaging in the bushes by the Harukei Shrine. Meticulously looking in every nook and cranny to find something interesting of Reimu's. After hours of working her 'hard work' had paid off, and she found one of her outfits by the back entrance, hanging on a clothes line. "Jackpot!" She exclaimed, stuffing the Shrine Maiden's outfit into her own shirt. As she confidently returned to her home, Reimu intercepted her. Oh no! I'm going to be caught! Marisa quickly jumped on her broom, and flew upward past Reimu. Unfortunately, the weight of Reimu's outfit made the broomstick go off balance, causing her to fall on top of the Shrine Maiden. "Oof." As Marisa scrambled up, Aya came flying down exclaiming that there was a new scoop. Ugh. Not again. It seemed Aya was the only one who was actually happy about these strange events. Marisa declined, that is, until she saw the rather blackmailing photos. "Wai- Where did you get that! You took a picture of me, didn't you!? Pervert!" Marisa said in distress, reaching for the photos.
Freeshooter
Iku giggled quietly at the arguing trio. I guess I ought to help them out... Iku flew down, nearly smacking Aya and Marisa in the head, and snatched the photos. "You want these back? Come and get em'! Before I show all of Gensokyo" Iku waved the pictures at the three, and flew off in the direction of the Scarlet Devil Mansion. "Come on doggies! Fetch the photos from me!" Iku taunted jubilantly. Larxene
"Yay~" Yuyuko took the jar of cherries from Youmu, and eating all of them in a matter of seconds. She sat there silently for a few seconds before finally remembering Youmu had something important to say about trees. "Silly Youmu, if it's dark outside and you can't see the sun, then obviously it must be night time. In that case, I suppose it's now time to go to bed." She got up and walked off past Youmu down the hall toward her room.

Zexaeon
OOC: ._. They live in Japan. And Youmu wouldn't say bullshit. IC: Youmu wasn't about to let her mistress get off that easily. She was quickly after her, grabbing ahold of her flowing Kimono sleeve and dragging the gluttonous ghost outside. "Look, Mistress, it's still daytime - see, the Morning Lillies are still opened up. And this watch, look-" she said, pulling out a watch to show what time it was. "The sun just started getting blotted out, see?" she finished, pointing up ward at the black circle in the sky. - Aya shrugged as Marisa seemed quite ready to freak out. "Oh, she can have those. I've always got more~. But! If you want me to help you get those back....I'll be needing your help, you two. I want to investigate this strange occurrance with the sun!" she said, pointing to the sky. "And don't think you're scott-free Reimu. Skuldur
Patchouli stared at Sakuya as she fixed the toy. Why would she fix that toy, everyone knew that Flandre would break it before you could say "Giant encyclopedia of Touhoutastic knowledge". After Sakuya had fixed the toy, everyone left. Leaving poor Patchouli all alone in the giant hallway. She sighed as she walked into the library. It was dark as always, but there was something wrong, something was out of place. She could sense it. After having walked in the library for a good couple of minutes she noticed the most horrific sighting ever, at least in her eyes. Someone had knocked over her books and the thick layer of dust that once rested on them was gone. A tear ran down her cheek as she yelled "KOAKUMA!" Amethyst Phoenix
As Remilia (with Sakuya in tow) flew towards the village, she glanced down at the Hakurei Shrine they were currently passing over. "There appears to some sort of scuffle and-" Remilia stopped mid-sentence as she noticed the object being fought over. As the gears of thought whirred in her head, she formulated a devious revenge plan. "Sakuya, fetch me those pictures." ordered Remilia. Payback's a jabroni and so am I....No, wait! Marisa's the jabroni, not me. The Scarlet Devil smiled, as she contemplated her humiliating scheme.
Zexaeon
Clearly, Yuyuko didn't place enough value on the severity of the situation at hand. Youmu didn't like this, and insisted that the blob in the sky was another of those incidents. Clearly, something had to be done. And so, Youmu now trudged dutifully down the road through the Forest of Magic, practically dragging Yuyuko behind her, so that they could investigate the issue. There destination was the Scarlet Devil Mansion, as Remilia was a prime suspect for blotting out the sun. Who else would do it? --------------- Reimu was pretty ticked off at the moment. It was bad enough that Marisa had showed up and was obviously intent on causing problems. And it was bad enough that the friggin' sun had suddenly been blacked out. And it was bad enough that Aya had decided to show up and flash that annoying smile of hers while she rambled about a Scoop of some kind, but NOW she was being blackmailed by the Tengu. "Aya, I was planning on investigating the problem with the sun anyway! It's a Shrine Maiden's duty!" she exclaimed, exasperated by the rapid flow of events. She could care less about the photos that iku had taken. More importantly... "And just what "Scandelous Photos" of me do you have, you pervert?" Aya sighed. "Everyone is always calling me that..." she huffed, resting a hand on her forehead. "A journalist seeks the truth, no matter how inconvenient that truth might be to someone else. Oh look!" she shouted, pointing upward at Remilia, who had just arrived on scene. "Suspect number 1, present!"
Marly
A childish laugh awakened Meiling from her slumber. Startled, Meiling surveyed the land around her, noticing nothing out of the ordinary. She was about to close her eyes to continue her nap, but the laugh came again. This time it clearly came from above her. Looking up, Meiling saw Iku heading toward Scarlet Devil Mansion. "Oh no! Sakuya will have my head for letting someone pass!" Meiling frantically reached her hand out and aimed at Iku. Suddenly, many different colored bullets flew out rapidly, all heading toward the intruder. Character Transition. Sakuya nodded at her mistress, and flew down to retrieve the photos. Foreseeing what might happen, Sakuya decided it might be a good idea to freeze time before-hand, instead of doing it with a danmaku in her face. Suddenly, the trees stopped swaying and the animals stopped chirping. Time had been frozen. "Such an easy task." Sakuya said, half to herself, half to Remilia. (Whom was not affected by the time change.) Sakuya carelessly walked over to Aya, and nabbed the photos. She placed them in a pocket, and flew up to Remilia. "It's not like she'll need them anyway, I'm sure that hot-head Marisa is eager to check out this incident. And it's a Shrine Maiden's duty to do so." She said, handing the revealing photos over to Remilia.
Zexaeon
Rumia and Cirno were both quite lost. They had been firmly on their way toward the Saigyoji Garden, but were stopped by vaious distractions - for example, Rumia had wanted to watch a passing bird, and Cirno had decided to freeze a few frogs. Rumia found a Revolver on the ground and started shooting it at trees, and Cirno had later taken it from her, saying she wanted to play with it. Before long, they had gotten very mixed up in the woods, and honestly had no idea where to go. Of course, Rumia wouldn't let anyone know that. "We should go this way, Cirno. I'll bet that person lives there here. It's really nice out with the sunlight gone. I can go out in the afternoon without getting split ends~." Larxene
"Youmu...where are we going? My bed is that way. Are we going on vacation? I didn't bring a change of clothes." Yuyuko followed Youmu through the forest, being dragged by her hand the entire time. They were now far from their home, and were now deep in the middle of the Forest of Magic, and from the looks of it, they were lost. "Youmu, you have no idea where you're going, do you?" Zexaeon
"Maybe, mistress, I just lost track of things with it being so dark and having to listen to your whining." she replied in a bit of exasperation, her tone bordering on insubordination. Seriously, though, shouldn't Yuyuko have cared about this kind of thing? her Cherry trees were in danger! Plus, without sunlight, Youmu would probably get lost more often and wouldn't be able o go ot and buy any more food for her. Speaking of food...
