Bringerofcake
I looked around on one of the other boards today, and I saw some "toon" cards. Bringerofcake
@ awesomeuser: Technically true. While the Japanese Master Rules use Release, I prefer to stick to the American vocabulary, and thus, Tribute.@ Breeze200: Ummm... no, it isn't. Link to comment
DuelingDude2
Toon-ification Instantification!Activate only when you control a face up "Toon World" on your side of the field. Realease/Tribute 1 monster you control then Special Summon 1 monster from your hand, deck or graveyard that has the same name as the Tributed/Realeased monster in its name. Voila! That's what I think, though. Might be wrong. Link to comment

Bringerofcake
Not really. There really isn't a stated "end of Standby Phase", and it's your SIDE of the field, but otherwise, you're good. Also threw in some new ideas. Link to comment

Hydra of Ages
I like the cards, only have 1 issue. Blue-Eyes Ultimate Toon Dragon is CRITICALLY underpowered. They only way I see that it can be summoned is if you get 3 Blue-Eyes Toons on the field already (I think. Can you fuse toons from your hand with the specified method?), And consider that if you already had them, you'd already be able to deal 9000 points of direct damage anyway. OR, you could fuse it, and get... a Toon with no additional effect, that can't even attack the turn its summoned and can only deal a max of 2250 directly (Worse than Toon Summoned Skull). My solution? Change the card's nerfs to- "If this card attacks the opponent directly the turn it is Summoned, apply half this card's Atk for damage calculation", instead of not being able to attack the turn its summoned and only doing half directly. I'd also give it something extra... for example, "Toon world cannot be targetted by opponent's Spell or Trap cards while this card is face-up on the field", or some other Toon utility to make it more appealing than 3 Toon-Eyes. Other than that, I love the idea of more toon cards. I'd recommend making some support for Toon World, to stop it from being an instant and easilly destroyed target. Maybe something like Toon Jinzo and Toon Spell-Canceller (Whose' effects wouldn't apply to Spell or Traps with Toon in the name, of course). Link to comment
Bringerofcake
Very true. I edited BEUTD. It doesn't need Toon World to attack directly, and it can attack three times. I kept the half Direct Damage effect, but only when it deals it when your opponent has monsters. Also, as for the non-Attacking thing, while I DID edit it, not attacking when they hit the field is a trait every monster in the Archetype shares. Link to comment
Hydra of Ages
Do they? Eh, never really paid attention to the laundry list of effects every Toon shares. In any case, that edit suffices. With the new effect, Ultimate has a damage capacity of... 6750, respectable, and can function without Toon World (unlike most toons). Though you might want to shave 'Dragon' off the name, Blue-Eyes Ultimate Toon sounds better in my opinion. Link to comment
Bringerofcake
Thanks. I didn't have a good idea on what to do, but it feels...right now. Link to comment
