scapegoat, i had not considered.

i did consider swords, and decided it wasnt as effective.

same with level limit b.

simply because theyre prone to getting lyla'd or the like. actually, level limit /cant/ be lyla'd, but best or breaker or freakin jd.

granted, once we throw jd in there, most of these are ineffective. save for ruler, roar, waboku, etc...

point is, i dont like spells because they see it coming too much and prep against it. i would prefer these all to activate battle step. granted some wont, but still.

this is meant to take on the meta, which does not include decree or jinzo.

should i come across those, im kind of boned.

i do like scapegoat though.

probably -valley for it.

edit, i could always side double snare.

edit again:

ive realized that i was looking at this too much like a topdeck situation.

i should have 5 cards in hand at all time, because id only be playing 1 per turn.

even in the case of sangan and valley, theyre +0's

that in mind, ive decided i can afford some slack because ill have options.

best way to play this deck would be something like...

save roar, ruler, and waboku for the latest of the game.

never play those unless like, jd is on the field.

pray against dark strike dick. (or side in something like barrel)

pray against jinzo or decree (or side in double snare)

and by turn...

27 roughly i will have won, because hell have either decked out or i will have drawn exodia.

-6 start, -3 valley, -3 upstart, -1 sangan

40 deck - 13 -1's to the deck = 27

i like how decking out is an alternate win condition.

i also like how im only missing like, 10 cards from this.

last, i like how this deck is dirt cheap.

less than 20 bucks.
