The figure stepped out of the shadows, revealing itself to be Daisuke, bloody, yet alive. "Sorry, looks like my hand slipped." Seconds after,the orb faded away, revealing an adult Valthorian, with weapons and armor. Valthorian's grin returned,it was sadistical and confident. He took a few steps forward, and swung his hand sideways, sending a massive dark magic wave at Daisuke. Not interested in seeing if it hit, he turned to Luke, and told him commandingly,"You deal with the kids...make sure they don't bother me." "Come now, Valthorian, is that the best you have? Now that I'm not holding back, I want this to be more fun. Aren't you interested in how I'm still alive? Come on, I'm trying to be dramatic here." Shradow Posted August 18, 2009 Report Share Posted August 18, 2009 OoC: Note he's using his telekinesis in most battles, I don't want to have to say "with his telekinesis" most of the time. Daisuke slowed Valthorian's descent then slowly stepped out of the way of his attack as he landed on the ground. "I guess I'll tell you anyways." He started spinning his blades around him. "You see, with my telepathy, I can temporarily stop brainwaves from travelling to other parts of my body, temporarily putting my body in a state of death. As long as my bodily functions aren't stopped for too long, I can restart my brain and 'come back to life'." Daisuke launched two of his swords. "I had to fake my death to have the others lose trust in you. Seeing you so easily kill someone without hesitation had to cause some doubts. My message to Jace didn't hurt either." He then raised his hand, and began swinging it in circles. When he stopped, four black tornadoes flew at full speed towards Daisuke, destroting everything in their paths. Valthorian proceeded to taunt Daisuke, telling him,"You've been trained in Dark Magic, yet your soul is stronger in White Magic, this constant internal fight limits your power greatly...I must say..if you'd only embrace the darkness..you'd truly surpass me." Infinitus Posted August 18, 2009 Report Share Posted August 18, 2009 Zack sat at the wooden, and average sized kitchen table, slowly sipping his soda and nibling his pizza, observing every move of his guests. He didn't want any of them acting up, and hopefully, he can use his newfound powers to make supposed 'accidents' occur to keep people quiet. He just wants everyone to eat and get out. By now, hopefully everyone would be on about their 3rd or 4th piece. He wasn't keeping track of the pizzas they ate, really only the things they said, and where they walked around, anything suspicious, so no one would talk ANYTHING about the Gatekeepers. Infinitus Posted August 18, 2009 Report Share Posted August 18, 2009 Zack immediately looked at Jace, and one thought ran through his mind as he heard the horrific words she said Oh no. He quickly speed walked out of the kitchen and into the living room, taking a good look outside. He immediately looked around for something that he could make fall on the yard, to get everyone away. He saw the old tree in the neighboor's yard that had been there for who knows how long. It was almost dead, and it was about 10 feet high, and was just tall enough to spread over the lawn, and not hit the house or the other neighboor's house. He walked over to the doggy door on the same wall on the front door, right next to the couch. He crouched down so no one could see, and he focused on the tree outside. He stuck his hand out of the doggy door, and waved his hand in wait appeared to be the direction of the old tree. It slowly began to crack at the trunk, and slowly fell on the two battling in his front yard. OOC: Hopefully, I got this post right, because I wasn't on for a while. Also, before anyone who is battling says that they saw the hand out of the doggy door, you two are obviously fighting, which means you would obviously be too focused on the opponent to glance at anything else.I don't want to waste any posts arguing. Valthorian then grinned, and responded "You fool, darkness is not for the weak, its for those who realize willpower alone is nothing!" But the massive black ball scraped Daisuke's side, causing blood to flow from the wound. He flung a blade at Luke's force field around the house, breaking it. Valthorian grinned, then said "If you want it done correctly, do it yourself". He opened his mouth,and a balck fog exited it, the black fog surrounded the house, then solidified into a dome, making it impossible to see from the inside out, and vice-versa. He then thought to himself You know what, forget it. You want something done right, you got to do it yourself. He immediately walked outside, and lept down the stone steps. He did his best to say in a nice tone "Incase you didn't know, you are kind of fighting on my lawn. I'd really appreciate it, if you would do this elsewhere. There is a mountain about 5 miles west, you could wreck each other there." He had his mind set on blocking or dodging anything he did with some of the rocks outside. primeval12 Posted August 18, 2009 Report Share Posted August 18, 2009 Yukii approuched the door uneasly,and pushed it open.`hhhmmm,empty´his voice echoed.The place was a dump,white paint coverd the rusty walls,coke cans and pizza boxes coverd the floor,he continued to investagate..CRACK,Yukii´s heart missed a beat,he lifted his foot to see a crushed tin with a red lid,he knelt down to pick it up,it was cold.`Somebody is in this dump or has bin,and I´m going to find out who´ He snarled clenching his fists,and with that he ran out of the building,Suddenly the sound of sirans filled his ears and 2 police cars rushed across the high-way.`Ha,finaly some fun!´ he said chasing the cars into the night. If you're not going to focus on the fight..I'll kill you right away." He closed his fist, and it became engulfed in black flames, then threw a punch, sending a horizontal funnel of the flames flew at high speed towards his foe. Daisuke brought up all 5 blades, but didn't have enough time to pull up a force field, and the blades met with the full force of the dark flames. Daisuke was pushed back several feet and two of the blades cracked along the length of them both. Daisuke threw them aside. "Well, that's a few weekends I'll be spending fixing those." He then moved raised his tigh hand, an opened his palm, his spear then came flying right at it. He spinned the spear a bit, and assumed a battle position, then looked at Daisuke in the eyes, no grin, just seroiusness. "What do you say if we cut the magic out, and begin fighting like true warriors?", saying this, he warped towards Daisuke, and thrusted his spear forward. But to answer your question, I fight because I can't stand people who use violence to get what they want. I had a little brother once, who always was bullied day after day. One day he came to school with one of our father's guns. He started shooting at the bullies, killing one of them. I tried to stop him, but I was shot in the shoulder. After that... He... He killed himself with that gun. It all started because of those bullies. I defend the weak, and defy the strong. That is why I fight." Daisuke threw aside two other blades, leaving himself with only one. "Now, we fight for real." This is the best chance I have of defeating him. He then said "Look, if we are so called Gatekeepers, and had the power to do all the things that we are told we can do, than don't you think it's going to take a little more than one person, no matter how many unrealistic and probably fake black flames you through isn't enough? Even if we haven't mastered our powers, they could take over at any time, considering they are a defense system. So, how about you two take your little cat fight over to the mountain over to the west, and me and the rest of the Gatekeepers will spare you. If that doesn't sound good, I'll give you some pizza, and my life savings just to get out. Alright?" without thinking whatsoever. He knew that he would probably die in the next few minutes, but he was one of the best liars he knew. OOC: Since it is not described in the first post, sensing lies is a little much. Don't even try.
