No idea since I get simple number greades. If I were to guess I'd say mid 3s since my grades are all like mid 90s.

Also odds are more than half the people in this thread are pulling the numebers from the air. I don't think that many people here would have GPAs above 3 since isn't mid 2 the average?

Technically yeah, 2 is the average. But where I live, you're pretty much considered f**king retarded for being average. It's waaaay to competitive where I live. I can't wait until I go out of state for college.

Your average person is a complete idiot. Where do you think the fast food industry gets its workforce?

A 2 is a terrible GPA. A 3 is decent. A 3.5 or above is good. A 4.0-5.0 is great.

We don't have GPA in our country, or at least not the system that I'm learning in now, in my system I currently have a 115%, which is due to the A-Levels which are subjects that boost your grade above 100% because they are harder than the normal O-Levels.

Btw, the maximimum grade achieved here is 118%, so I got a 3% to add this year to achieve perfection!!

Despite the fact that the maximum you can get is a 4. ;D

Depending on what kind of grading scale you have, APs give you an extra 0.7-1.0, anything ending with a plus can get you an extra 0.3, and honors classes can give you an extra 0.5. So if you get an A in an AP class, depending on where you go, you may either get a 4.7 or a 5.0. Usually if you can get an extra 1.0 in an AP, you can't get an extra 0.3 by getting anything ending in a plus.

If you still don't get it: I got a B+ in AP Psychology last quarter. Instead of getting a 3.3, I got a 4.0 because of the 0.7 bonus you get for taking an AP. If I got an A+, instead of it being a 4.3, it would be a 5.0.

4.1 I think?

It'd probably be higher if I was less lazy.

The highest is 4.0 >_> Anyway mine is 3.6 it would be higher' date=' but I'm just too lazy. My IQ is somewhere aroung 155 according to an IQ test my grade had to take last year. When my teachers learned that my IQ was that high they get mad when they don't see me get A's. I thinks it's funny but A's and B's are good enough. :)

[/quote']

If you take advance classes it can go up to a 5.0.

My parents dont care what I get. I have a 4.0 right now.

If one were to get anything in the 130s or higher, wouldn't they be considered a genius? :?

There is some really smart senior in my AP Psych class who got a 136. He has about a 4.7 GPA, he's 15, and he recently moved from India, where the standards of education are significantly higher than that of America.
