Guest JoshIcy
Then grace me with the pleasure of never posting in a thread with Physical Art ever again.Or I will act on my mod privileges. Regardless of the fall-out.
Signosis
Mrew, you two. ><; Although it is a bit harsh to say what you like and don't like, Careless, this is a thread for helping people on their artwork. I mean, if I posted up some of mine, I would be terribly hurt if all I got was most of the people saying, "I've seen better." I've had my say. =/

Regardless of the fall-out. It doesn't work that way, dude. You get so over reactive just becuase someone is being honest with their own opinions, you'll just end up making it worse for yourself. Siggy, I do understand that it may be harsh, but I'm not one to make a false opinion.

My first month on YCM? And since then, I've been a very huge advocate of the Physical Arts. You've known this long since. So when I naturally react to an ever so slightly loose statement, that shows little to know value upon my art. You having prior knowledge of my extensive history and pride. Why should I let you, of all people, dodge the bullet? No. I won't. And forgetfulness is not an excuse. Ooh and I am not asking you to not be honest. Quite frankly, in the world of Physical Art. Negative opinions, and opinions in General are what drives a person to succeed. But the statements are formatted, to show care each and every time. It's not bad, is showing it has no value to you, because that statement is empty. You also added I've seen better, when like it or not there is no good, bad, greatest or worst. You say it like that, and no one is on the same playing field... Ever. But before I rant on about "famous" artists, I'll stop and just end it. For you, IT DOES WORK THAT WAY. Dad
Joshua, this neither the time or place to get jumpy over criticism. Some are more harsh than others, but in the same place he still respected the fact that your artwork wasn't mediocre like some. He didn't say it was bad or good, nor did he say he saw something he didn't liked. But, you can't live up to his expectations just because "he's seen better'. This is an opinion, and you know damn well it's all how you play into it. =/ Meti-sama, it may not be the best of artwork, and though your comment wasn't inappropriate, it was rather rude. I'm sure you have thought other works to be better, but I do believe this is Joshua's first hand drawn artwork. Cut him a little slack eh? Well, there's my two cents =/. And Josh, you already know what I think of your Tooth-Headed Jellyfish, Coked out Duelist, and Zombie Smashing Elephant. ;)
