Reinstall the operating system or wipe hardrive.

Hmm.

Will any of that delete my files(ya, it sounds like a stupid question, but I really don't want to be in the dark when it comes to my computer)?

I backup my PC on an external hard drive once a month, if that helps.

get CCleaner. it wipes all of that nasty porno youve got taking up all your harddrive space.

1. If there is anything you need to back up that isn't already backed up, save it onto a flash drive, NOT YOUR EXTERNAL ( you could risk infecting the entire external)

2. REFORMAT THE (Computer, internal) HARD DRIVE (This will delete everything on it)

3. REINSTALL YOUR OS

4. Get all files from External

5. If you used the flash drive to back ANYTHING up, get anti virus and scan software, and plug in the flash drive and SCAN EVERYTHING ON IT before you move anything to and from. Move the clean files to your computer and Reformat the Flash disc.

I'd have to agree with him <.<

If that doesn't work, well, do the wipe then I guess.

Try just restarting the PC.

Not the system, the PC.

It happens to me once in a while.

If it doesn't help, try doing another Virus Scan, and clean up unwanted files.

Also, may I ask how much of your total GB is taken / left?
