-Berserker-
Chile is the country of South America with the most confirmed cases of a/h1n1 (the so called swine flu), like 100 or 300. Chile is also the first southamerican country with confirmed deaths for this cause. In like 18 hours, Paraguay will be playing a soccer match agaisn't Chile right in my city, and now my city is full of people that came from Chile. There is no control because it doesn't work. I work a the zone with a lot of hotels, and chileans are ocupping the places where I generally wander. I don't want to be infected, am I overacting? -Berserker-
We already have swine flu here (we where the last ones, like in everything), but no one was contagied here, people came sick from New York and they recovered without infecting someone else here. But with a lot of virus all around the city, it's different.
Frunk
For perspective: There are well-upwards of a thousand in Australia, and our population is a mere 4,000,000 more than Chile's.

◊ Hᵃᵏᵃˢᵉ ◊
The truth is, theres no need to worry. With only that many people going there you'll be fine. Your overreacting big time.
Enrise
Wow, 100 to about 300, how bad.No, 17 mil total, and only 100-300 have it. What are the chances that you will get it? Id say, too slim, no way you could get it any time soon. Also, no, you cannot be endangered, only an entire species can be endangered, like some animals in the Rain Forest in Brazil. If you were endangered, you would have to be another species.

Skuldur
Even with those deaths there are way more people alive in Chile than in, lets say, the Faroe Islands. Does that mean they're endangered. >_>
OhHerro
You realize that the 100-300 people in Chile with swine flu will more likely be in quarantine than in Paraguay for a soccer match, right? You're kind of overreacting.
