FoolMeNever
OK, I was playing at a tourny. And my opponent activates Snatch Steal on my Kycoo (This was before the new Banned List), and then I activated MST on his Snatch Steal. He then activated Book of Moon on Kycoo. He said that Kycoo belongs to him now (In the duel of course) even though Snatch Steal is destroyed. Is that legal?
Abstract [Atrocity]
You would get back Kycoo. Flipping him face-downdestroys Snatch Steal, and then if he isn't equippedwith it he goes back to you.
FoolMeNever
That's what I thought, but even a judge (not a very good one in my opinion though) said it would stay on his side of the field.
Xemnas2133
lol snatch is an equip card, without a target its no good, flipping it facedown is like setting a card during your turn, its still your monster (as in owner's card)... did you win? FoolMeNever
Unfortunately, I did not win. And I'll make sure to ask a different judge next time. Thanks for all this,
Xemnas2133
Bummer, maybe if it wasn't for a crappy judge you would have won.
FoolMeNever
Bummer' date=' maybe if it wasn't for a crappy judge you would have won.[/quote'] xD, yeah probably. Too bad I can't say that to his face otherwise I'd be banned.

iAmNateXero
Okay was this all one chain or did you wait for snatch to resolve? If this was all 1 chain, you got cheated. The chain must resolve first. That means book is first, than mst than snatch. If you let the snatch resolve, than you actavate mst, and he chains book, than it was totaly legal. Guest King of Games
Okay. This is one of those FAQs. From what i've heard, when the monster is flipped down, opponent keeps it. flipped back up you get it back.
God GAK
Okay. This is one of those FAQs. From what i've heard' date=' when the monster is flipped down, opponent keeps it. flipped back up you get it back.[/quote'] Your opponent still keeps it... i think. not 100% sure
Orochi
nate said it... if it was on a chain link, you got scammed... but if you allowed the succesful activation of snatch steal, then it's legal...
FoolMeNever
No... It was a chain. He played snatch, I activated MST, then he activated Book of Moon. I think... But! He flipped it up then attacked me with it. If it wasn't a chain would that still be legal?
Guest King of Games
An interesting example of an endless loop can occur in this situation would be if the monster was Blindly Loyal Goblin. Try checking some Yugioh site FAQs
Orochi
An interesting example of an endless loop can occur in this situation would be if the monster was Blindly Loyal Goblin. Try checking some Yugioh site FAQs dude, you're SOOOOO out of context... back to the business, if it was a chain FROM THE BEGINING it's illegal... example: player A: activates snatch stealplayer B: chains MST to the activationplayer A: activates book of moon resolving the chain: the target monster is flipped face-down, then MST destroys snatch steal, then snatch tries to resolve, but since it's no longer on the field and it's an equip card it's effect doesn't resolves... also, you can chain manually the battle position of a monster if it was changed by a card effect, except when that monster was summoned that turn...
