"It's simple physics." Kaerez said, still invisible to the naked eye. "As a mass of molecules move, they build up a positive charge. Eventually, that positive charge will be able to dismantle molecules of a different charge when they come into a high-speed collision".

 

He voice rang out like an echo, apparently from nowhere.

Suddenly, there was an immense concentration of Spiritual Energy.

"Cero crepuscular!"

There was a city-wide explosion of spiritual energy. After the dust cleared. Zarkus was standing there, sword in hand.

"Lets see if he survived that..."

Kaerez stood smirking, sitting on a piece of rubble. He yawned a little. "Only city-wide? Tisk, tisk. I outran that thing before you even got the first syllable out. Anyway, that little stunt only attracted the attention of, I don't know, EVERY SHINIGAMI IN THE CITY." He cocked his head and smirked a little. "Also, I finished charging."

He shrugged. "Don't need to." He removed his dagger-shaped Zanpaktou from his belt, and twirled it a little. "My Zanpaktou converts electricity into usable velocity and energy for me. In the same way, my velocity creates electricity to feed to Kagenmirau, in an infinite loop. The thing is, Kagenmirau converts less electricity into Velocity, than the electricity I create with that velocity, meaning it's electric charge hypothetically stretches infinite upward. Thing is, I can stop the conversion into velocity and dedicate all that pent-up electricity to Kagenmirau's own ability..."

He smirked. "Sharper than you seem, Arrancar. After absorbing copious amounts of electricity, my mind speeds up the point everything seems to move at a snail's pace. It's rather difficult for me to miss."

 

He flicked up the dagger, idly pointing the end at Zarkus. "It's much easier on other Shinigami, since then I can aim for the Chain Link and Soul Sleep... As far as I know about Arrancar, they have no Chain Link, and hell knows where their Soul Sleep is located."

OOC: just so as no one is confused, i joined through PM and am just going to get involved.

 

toto had watched the current battles in shade, not knowing when or where to get involoved, if he should get involved. he knew he had been blessed, and knew he could use this blessing for good, but did not know who to trust. he decided here, now, that he would help these strangers, myhaps they would become his friends.

 

"excuse me," said toto, comeing out from the shade for the first time in years.

"it's vel and quanret, right?"
