Dio suddenly stopped being angry. "Her parents were assassinated?"

"Yes. Or more like her adoptive parents, because her real parents rejected her at birth..."

"I feel sorry for her. I never knew that"

"Well, you helped her...that's a real hero act." the main officer waved his hands, and the police cars dismissed from the scene, along with the officers and Arcanines.

"She still got hurt though" Dio sighed "I'm no hero if she got attacked in the first place"

"Well, you tried your best, and that's all one can ask of a person." the officer turned around and leaved.

"Wait a minute!" Dio shouted "Is Luna an heir to her family's property now?!"

"Why yes she is....since her real parents died a natural death, their house is hers now. It is somewhere around this city. Gorran City..."

"And what about her adoptive parents property as well?" Dio inquired

"Well, that's another story, since they weren't her real parents." The officer walked away, out of sight. Luna weakly looked up. "D-Dio?"

Dio turned around "Luna, have the Arcanine broke any of your bones?"

"N-No, I don't think so...it only hurt."

"I-I'm s-sorry L-L-Luna"

"It's ok..." Luna stood up, took her crutches, and supported herself. "you protected me!"

"You still got hurt though and all because of me" Dio said looked down and tightly clenching his fists "This was what i was afraid of"

"Don't blame yourself!" Luna said. "Everyone makes mistakes!"

"It's one mistake i didn't want to make" Dio replied "It's like those rescue missions again, i'm always a failure when it comes to protecting people"

"It's OK, Dio!" Luna said. "I'm 100% sure! It's ok."

"I'll never forgive myself though, i could have lost you"

"Well, don't think about it now!" Luna said. "Let's go back now."

"Ok but first we need to got back to that officer who stopped the fight" Dio said, not even bothering about his punctured leg "He mentioned something about your birth parents"

"W-What?" Luna gasped.

"Yeah, he said their house is somewhere in the city but he never gave me an address"

"Well, let's go look for it!" Luna said. "Yeah, let's do it!" Glaceon said.

Dio nodded and as soon as he took one step he dropped to his knees "I forgot about my leg"
