The gadgets themselves are hilarious to run but arent really fast enough for todays game and stronghold is just no.

Ok, back to the point. Did you know that in Japan, Gadgets were a great boom for the past 2 years? did you? no. I don't think you did. It even says it in the JAPANESE OFFICIAL YUGIOH CARD GUIDE BOOK VOLUME 2!!

This is great with Ultimate Offering, because even 1 in your hand with it can get as much gadgets as you want out. Also, I think that it is a good "Overflow card". That's why it was Semi-Limited.

Real Genex are the new Gadgets.

Real Genex Turbo:

When this card is successfully Normal Summoned, you can add 1 Level 1 "Genex" monster from your Deck to your hand.

 

Genex Power Planner:

When this card is Normal Summoned, you can add 1 Level 3 "Genex" Effect Monster from your Deck to your hand.

 

Real Genex Magna:

When this card is Normal Summoned, you can add 1 Level 2 "Real Genex" monster from your deck to your hand.

 

Real Genex Crusher:

When this card is Normal Summoned succesfully , you can add 1 Level 4 "Real Genex" monster from your deck to your hand.

 

Loop:

Power Planner --> Magna --> Crusher --> Turbo --> Power Planner, ect

 

The loop has the support of other Genex, more cards in the loop, and one of every level 1-4 which gives more options for a Deck using synchros.

Actualy I did! Which is why I spent 30 bucks on 3 of the structure decks when they came out...then several days after they were crap...

Gadgets are a fun Deck, but they're - as said before - too slow for this Meta.

Which is why you use them with Ultimate Offering to grab a tuner at one point in the chain and synchro something with more ATK than any of the loop monsters or, infact, the gadgets.

 

And no, they won't be more splashable than gadgets, but they're more useful if you're making a Deck around them, since the whole theme of Real Genex is, in short "Be gadgets, but with more options"

Why do the Gadget's ATK and DEF seem so random? I'd expect a theme, and it's always bothered me.

 

Also, OP, you forgot to list Turbo Judgment Dragon.
