Or are there just a lot of newbs in the Realistic Card Section? Usually when I look in a thread in that section theres just a bunch on newbs who have no idea what their talking about. Plenty of times I see false info about OCG as well.

 

So this is my question: Where are all the newbs coming from? I know we get new members everyday but still this is a lot that I have noticed.

Im glad that the community is increasing but if we keep getting so many new members that clutter up the forums image will go down. This could also lead to Mods working even harder to control spam and flam, the sever being overloaded, and who knows what else.

 

I just think a rule that keeps newbs at a minim post-per section would help. Maybe a section designed for newbs to start off in.

When I first came to this site, I thought any card was good.

 

So I instantly wanted some of the action and rushed to make a cool card.

 

Obviously junked full of OCG errors with the worst image ever.

 

But you gotta start off bad to get better.

 

So newbs will be newbs, they usually learn at about 2-3 star when they feel they settled more and learned more ways to create cards.

 

Just to decrease the chance of n00by newbs, correct OCG and suggest ways to improve at all times, they wont learn any other way.

all people have their good and bad parts. For instance, I try to be nice to others, and I'm pretty good at all sorts of schoolwork, but I might not be good at card making. So try to get over their good and bad. I'm sure you also have a good part and a bad part. life lessons.

Well, YCMaker did recently do that "Twitter award" thing to boost publicity. Then there's word of mouth, and of course, Yugioh TAS did put a call out to this site in one of their eps.

 

The reason Realistic seems so cluttered is because that's the first forum any newb who joins will visit.

Some people already on this forum invite them, some find it while looking for yugioh PSD templates (like me!) ect.

Kitty is right, when I started off that's the first place I went: they expect to see good cards automatically. Also it is true that this site has been spreading lately, cause I see plenty od newbs too.

Oh, cheer up deadpool! Its not that bad. Maybe we can be their mentors or somethin'.
