Aelsthla-Mental
Just had the sudden urge to make a contest, so yeah. This is my... Sixth thread, I believe. Some applause from somewhere... 1st: 3 reps2nd: 2 reps3rd: 1 repEnd Date: 6/7/09 Anyway. The main idea for this is a card that can make your opponent paranoid. By that I mean, make a card that does one of the following: One card Required, but up to three is allowed. More will be judged higher, but it is quality over quantity. The main idea for this is a card that can make your opponent paranoid. By that I mean make sure the ability will leave your opponent second-guessing. Perhaps a card that could wipe out a card from the hand or field, so should they put their better Spell or Trap card here or there? Should they play their best monster, or keep it in their hand, only to be wiped out either way? So yeah, wish you all luck! Aelsthla-Mental
Hmm... It is rather interesting, you should probably have something like 'shuffle your hand after' for the first effect so it isn't too easy to guess which cards are it. Apart from that, it's nice. Unfortunately, there are not enough contestants as of yet, so I'll have to postpone the finishing date. But that card is a good start!

Alordzynix
I'm going to try this. But some people get already paranoid when you set a monster and 3 or more S/T cards. Thinking you played a Morphing Jar.

rodri666
Im in. My cards:
When your opponent Summon a Level 8 monster, flip a coin. If you call right your opponent must select one of the following effects:-Change the control of that monster.-Destroy that monster and take damage equal to its ATK.-Send all others cards in their side of the field and in their hand to the Graveyard. Each time your opponent Set a monster, flip a coin. If ou call right, your opponent must select and activate one of the following effects: -Return that monster to the top of the owner's Deck.-Change that monster to face-up Attack Position, negate the effect(s) of that monster and its ATK becomes 0.-Remove from play all cards in their hand and Graveyard.
You can only be Special Summon this card from your hand to your opponent's side of the field. When this card is Special Summoned, its original owner can destroy 1 other card on the field. Each time this card declare an attack, flip a coin. If you call right, Special Summon 1 "Necro Orb Token" (DARK/Fiend-Type/Level 2/ATK 0/DEF 0) in Attack Position. Those tokens cannot be Tributed and their Battle Position cannot be changed. If you call wrong, take damage equal to this card's ATK. This card cannot be Tributed.
Aelsthla-Mental
Hmm... Final Day may be a bit OPed with that effect when your opponent sets a monster... But Necro Golem is... interesting, if only lightly to do with the theme. But yeah, looking good!

Necro Pheonix
effect:This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card can only be Special Summoned by removing from play 3 DARK monsters in your Graveyard. When this card is Special Summoned flip a coin and call it. If you call it right add your Graveyad to your Deck and draw 3 cards. If you call it wrong, discard your hand and the top 3 cards of your Deck. Is ther an entry fee? Aelsthla-Mental
No entry fee, but how does that card make your opponent 'paranoid'? It's only effects the user, and not really in a way that makes the opposition regret much.
Necro Pheonix
Actually, no clue. I just put it in because i couldnt think of any good effects that could win and this was the best i got. Since there is no entry fee i have nothing to lose.
EnkoMaun
I'm in, here's the card:When this card is in the Graveyard, put it on top of your Deck. You may then change the order of the top 5 cards on your Deck. During each of your Draw Phases, before you draw, your opponent may look at the top card of your Deck. If it is not this card, inflict 1000 damage to your opponent's Life Points. If it is this card, discard the top 5 cards on your Deck.
Subtlety
wow, thats paranoia all right. but what if they opt not to loo, and you draw that card?im in, though. this card has so many uses. i would definitely be paranoid if someone used this against me o.0This monster cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This monster can only be Special Summoned to your opponents side of the field by tributing 2 DARK monsters on their side of the field as a tribute. While this card is on the field, any monster in the Monster Card Zone directly opposite this card gains 800 ATK. Once per turn, by paying 500 Life Points, the original owner can move this card into an adjacent Monster Card Zone. This card cannot be used for a Tribute Summon or Synchro Summon. Aelsthla-Mental
*shrugs* could use a bit more paranoia I guess. I mean, it makes your opponent think twice about having two Dark monsters, but the other effect doesn't really do much in the paranoia area. Subtlety
yes, but if its on the field, you dont no which way they'll move it, and as such, which monster will get the 800 point ATK boost. that, combined with the fact that it cant be tributed, makes 1 paranoid indeed. ╬「Selatcia」╬
Effect:This card cannot be Summoned except by removing from play 1 Level 4 or higher Machine-Type monster in your Graveyard. This card cannot be destroyed by battle (Damage calculation is applied normally). If either player activates card effect that increases this cards ATK or DEF (except this card), destroy it and inflict damage to the card's controller equal to half the number of letters in the name of the destroyed card x 100. During each of your Standby Phases, increase this card's ATK and DEF by 1000 and upgrade this card by 2 Levels. You must pay Life Points equal to this card's ATK / 5 to attack with this card. If this card is targeted by the effect of a Spell or Trap Card controlled by your opponent, you can decrease this card's ATK and DEF by 1000 and downgrade this card by 2 Levels to negate the effect of the Spell or Trap Card and destroy it. This effect cannot be used if this card's Level is 1 or this card's ATK or DEF is less than 1000. Note: / = divided by.

Aelsthla-Mental
I suppose flip effects can somewhat make your opponent paranoid, but with that effect it doesn't quite work, the effect would happen if your opponent attacked or not. But yeah, yay! Another entrant.
