Effect: This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card can only by Special Summoned by the effect of "Awaken the Dying Flame". When this card is Special Summoned, put 1 "Spectre's Ember" token on this card for every Monster Card in your Graveyard. During your Standby Phase, you can Tribute 1 "Spectre's Ember" token to inflict 500 damage to your opponent.

Effect: Summoned when you control a "Mal' Fiam the Inferno Spectre" in face-up Attack Position. This card cannot declare an attack. As long as this card remains faceup- on the field any "Mal' Fiam the Inferno Spectre" you control cannot be affected by your opponent's Spell or Trap Cards.

Well, there are problems:

 

Awaken The Dying Flames

i) Pic looks blurry and not very flame-like

ii) You could turn this into a Ritual Spell Card

iii) If so, the OCG:

This card is used to Ritual Summon "Mal' Fiam-The Inferno Spectre". You must offer 1 DARK and 1 FIRE monster whose total Level Stars equal 8 or more as a Tribute from the field or your hand.

 

Mal' Fiam

i) I'd change the name to "Mal' Fiam-The Inferno Spectre"

ii) Pic would make me change this to a Pyro-Type monster

iii) You could turn this into a Ritual Monster

iv) If so, the OCG:

This card can only be Ritual Summoned with the Ritual Spell Card "Awaken The Dying Flames". When this card is Summoned, put 1 Spectre's Ember Counter on this card for every Monster Card in your Graveyard. Once per turn, during your Standby Phase, you can remove 1 Spectre's Ember Counter to inflict 500 damage to your opponent.

 

(Note: You could only have up to four Tokens, so it's probably better to use Counters)

 

Essence of Mal' Fiam

i) I would switch the name around to "Mal' Fiam's Essence"

ii) OCG:

This card can only be Summoned when there is a face-up "Mal' Fiam-The Inferno Spectre" on your side of the field. This card cannot attack. As long as this card remains face-up on the field, you can negate the effects of Spell and Trap Cards that designate "Mal' Fiam-The Inferno Spectre".

 

Quite a few OCG errors, so work on that.
