Ancient Feud! The Forgotten vs. The Malevolent [Part 3]

Part 3 of this set; the monsters created by The Forgotten and The Malevolent during their struggle.

 

[spoiler=This part of the story]

It was early on in the conflict that the Forgotten realised that the golems and spellcasters they had relied on since anyone could remember would not be enough to destroy the Malevolent. Thus, they used their arcane powers to bring forth powerful creatures, their power unmatched by the Malevolent’s armies.

These creatures where Byakko, Infernos, Paladin, Simion and Xindi. When they were unleashed, they devastated the Malevolent soldiers and forced a huge retreat. The Malevolent rulers, however, were not to be outdone. Focussing their dark powers, they formed beasts of potent darkness to combat the Forgotten’s creations.

And thus Alastos, Behemoth, Cocytus, Gomorrah and Grigori were born. Five beasts hewn from dark energies, created only to defeat the Forgotten.

The fight continued, the great beasts clashing and wiping out armies with single attacks. As the situation grew even more desperate for both sides, both races tried to find a way to increase their strength.

Qinglong and Valkyrie were the results. Monsters born from the synchronisation of others, they rose up and did battle. However, the two creatures were evenly matched, and so the destruction did not cease.

Their feud continued until the creation of the Angel of The Forgotten and the Transcend Malevolent. The Angel dispatched Valkyrie and the Transcend wiped out Qinglong. And so, the new titans of the ancient ones did battle...

 

 

 

[spoiler=Forgotten Creatures]

Effect: This card cannot be Special Summoned. This card returns to the owner's hand during the End Phase of the turn that this card is Normal Summoned or flipped face-up. When this card inflicts Battle Damage to your opponent, your opponent discards 1 DARK monster from their hand. If this card is destroyed in the turn it is summoned, destroy all "Malevolent" monsters on your opponent's side of the field.

Effect: If this card is destroyed by battle, or by your opponent's card effect while it is a Monster Card, equip it to a monster your opponent controls during the End Phase of this turn. During each of your opponent's Standby Phases, this card inflicts an amount of damage to your opponent equal to the number of "Forgotten" monsters in your Graveyard x 200.

Effect: Once per turn, during your Main Phase, if you control this monster on the field, you can equip it to a "Forgotten" monster as an Equip Spell Card OR unequip the Union equipment and Special Summon this card in face-up Attack Position. While equipped to a monster by this card's effect, the equipped monster cannot be destroyed by battle. (1 monster can only be equipped with 1 Union Monster at a time. If the equipped monster is destroyed as a result of battle, destroy this card instead.)

Effect: When this card destroys a "Malevolent" monster by battle, increase your Life Points by the Level of the destroyed monster x 300 points.

Effect: FLIP: Destroy a number of face-up "Malevolent" monsters equal to the number of face-up "Forgotten" monsters on the field.

Effect: 1 Tuner monster + 1 "Forgotten Creature" monster

As long as this card remains face-up on the field, "Malevolent" monsters cannot attack. During each of your End Phases, you can Special Summon 1 "Forgotten" monster in face-up Defense Position from your hand or Deck. If you don't, this card is destroyed.

Effect: When this card inflicts Battle Damage to your opponent, put 1 "Malevolent Counter" on each face-up non-FIRE monster on the field. ("Malevolent" monsters gain 200 ATK and DEF for each "Malevolent Counter" during the Damage Step only. Non-"Malevolent" monsters lose 200 ATK and DEF for each "Malevolent Counter" during the Damage Step only.)

Effect: As long as this card remains face-up on the field, your opponent cannot activate Field Spell Cards. Once per turn, during your End Phase, put 1 "Malevolent Counter" on each EARTH monster on the field. ("Malevolent" monsters gain 200 ATK and DEF for each "Malevolent Counter" during the Damage Step only. Non-"Malevolent" monsters lose 200 ATK and DEF for each "Malevolent Counter" during the Damage Step only.)

Effect: Once per turn, during your Standby Phase, you can remove all "Malevolent Counter" cards from all face-up monsters on the field to Special Summon 1 "Malevolent" monster whose Level Stars equal the number of removed "Malevolent Counter" cards. (Max. 8) ("Malevolent" monsters gain 200 ATK and DEF for each "Malevolent Counter" during the Damage Step only. Non-"Malevolent" monsters lose 200 ATK and DEF for each "Malevolent Counter" during the Damage Step only.)

Effect: As long as this card remains face-up on the field, when your opponent activates a Spell or Trap Card, you can pay 500 Life Points to negate the effect and destroy the card. If this card attacks, it is changed to Defense Position at the end of the Battle Phase. This card's battle position cannot be changed until the end of the next turn, except with a card effect.

Effect: FLIP: Equip this card to a monster on your opponent's side of the field and treat it as an Equip Spell Card. Take control of the equipped monster. The equipped monster is treated as a "Malevolent" monster. During each of your End Phases, put 1 "Malevolent Counter" on the equipped monster. Your opponent gains 500 Life Points during each of their Standby Phases.

Effect: 1 Tuner + 1 "Malevolent Beast" monster

When this card is Synchro Summoned successfully, put 6 "Malevolent Counter" cards in any combination on face-up monsters on the field. As long as this card remains face-up on the field, if a Level 5 or lower "Malevolent" is destroyed and sent to the Graveyard, you can Special Summon it during the End Phase of the turn. ("Malevolent" monsters gain 200 ATK and DEF for each "Malevolent Counter" during the Damage Step only. Non-"Malevolent" monsters lose 200 ATK and DEF for each "Malevolent Counter" during the Damage Step only.)
