Immediately before, during, and after the Nile's flooding for part of the year, however, the farmers would be out of work, and thus go to build the ancient tombs known as the Pyramids. Just because they didnt earn "Money" and got payed with a living area and food ect. ect. doesn't auto make them slaves. You CAN become a Jew if you truly believe in what Judaism states (starting with the believe in One God).Such conversion is called giyur and must be performed by orthdox rabbi.But a born Jew CAN'T stop being Jewish - regardless of his actions/belief/opinion/etc./etc./etc...2. Jews were slaves in Egypt and did built something there (but that might not be the piramids).Anyways - there was no such thing as "workers" in those times in such militaristic countries like Egypt.They simply used slave labor in exchange for the slaves' LIVES...3.
