First card revised: This card cannot be Special Summoned. This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set except by Tributing 1 " New Mechanic Fortress". Special Summon 1 "New Mechanic Fortress" from your Graveyard (or hand but not both otherwise seems to powerful). This card cannot be targeted by the effects of Trap Cards.

 

This card is a tad bit overkill for the 2900/2800, 1 monster tribute, along with the sick effect of special summon and not effected by traps.

That is just my suggestion for a more balanced card because otherwise you'd have a 2900 and a 2700 out in one turn if done correctly, also it is fairly easy to do... This is still over power quite a bit but i'll let others throw in their opinion.

When ever a monster is summoned put one mech counter on this card(max.3) .then actvate 1 of the following effects.

-remove1- every New Mechanic monster gains 1000 atk points during your opponent's turn

-removing2-New Mechanic monsters can'nt be destroyed in battle(damage is applied normally)

-remove3- remove one card from play

Once per turn you can tribute 1 New Mechanic monster to destroy 1 monster on your opponent's side of the field then your opponents takes damage to half your monster's atk.

This card can only be equiped to a New Mech monster. The equiped monster gains 1000 atk points duringg your opponent's batle phase. If the equiped monster is destroyed in battle destroy this card instead

Face-up "New Mechanics" monsters gains x00 < 200 (other wise this card would be over kill as a field card also you can get it to add 600atk max which is acceptable for field card' date=' also this card has other effect which makes it deadly) ATK during your Opponents battle phase for each Counter on this card. Each time a monster(s) is Normal Summoned or Set, put 1 counter on this card (max. 3). You can remove 3 Counters from this card to negate and destroy 1 Spell or Trap Card on the field. (just a suggestion edit it however you like)

-remove3- remove one card from play (over kill especially since people will probably summon once per turn and typically with new decks it's all about getting a lot of monsters out fast so you'll see 2-3 monsters summon per turn.)"

Each time a (spell, trap or which ever you choose) Card is activated, place 1 Counter on this card (max. 3). This card gains x00 =< 500 ATK for each Counter on it. You can Tribute this card with 3 Counters on it to Special Summon 1 "New Mechanics" from your hand. (Basically a combination of breaker magi warri and the Skilled Drk Magi, still i think i might of made him over power but it is limited to "new mechanics" and it also has to be from your hand. could be balance depending on how you edit this.)

 

(i suggest making counter on this guy rather than having a once per turn effect)

nope too O/P... this card can summon alpha and omega in one turn... best yet this card is very powerful in "New Mechanics" Deck (essential) because it basically acts as Spirit barrier + 1 Tributing for the two strongest "New Mecha" cards in one blow. hmmm..

 

If you turn this into a monster with a tribute set on it then it would make it more balanced, the card itself is balance (for a spell, identical to spirit barrier) but the idea of it also being used for a tribute makes it unbalanced.

 

My suggestion Make it level 5+, Atk/Def average for the Level it is. detailing the effect you might want to include something of this kind to it "During each of your Standby Phases Decrease the ATK of monsters by x00 < 500 (since it is all your opponents monsters) points monsters on your opponent's side of the field until the end of this turn." This still implies the fortress theme but less of a infinite waboku card.

Fortress is still a little questionable, by him self he's a pretty lame card. added into the new mecha deck he's a beast of a card. sadly the draw backs of not having another new mecha = his death... pretty awesome.

 

This card is destroyed if there are no monsters with "New Mechanic on the field. during each of your standby phase reduce the atk of all monsters on your opponent's side of the field by 400.

 

Because during each of your standby you reduce your opponents monster's atk by 400 permanently (need to add "until the end of this turn." into to the text. or lowers the 400 into something less) in which ever case its a pretty balanced bunch of mecha's
