Your guide to CRMS Blackwings!!

Yes, good evening class, you (assuming) have come here to lear the do dos (lolz) and don'ts of Blackwings from Crimson Crisis, I am your host Dave Letterman Syncrow.

Please pay attention and don't stick your gum under the desks (put it in the hair of the girl in front of you).

Anyway:

The Monsters

1- Blackwing - Gale the Whirlwind:

Technically, the first Blackwing ever and one of the best tuners in the game. Woo. Anyway, this card is easily special summon as long as you control another face-up Blackwing. Basically, easy as s***. Gale can also halve the ATK/DEF of any (face-up) monster your opponent controls permenently. This card can easily run over Stardust Dragon and Monarchs thanks to that. Only problem is that he can easily be run over on your opponent's turn. And that's where T-Roar comes in.

Basically, run @ 3 in basic BWs. Done.

 

2- Blackwing - Bora the Spear:

Coming in with a first effect the same as Gale's, Bora is your basic LV4 beater with Piercing. Thanks to Gale's and Sirocco's abilities, you can easily have some fun with this effect. Easy to summon, great attacker, or just instant LV7 Synchro with Gale = WIN. Although he's not really good with Summoner Monk, before you try it.

Run at 3. I've seen some decks with 2, but I recommend 3.

 

3- Blackwing - Sirocco the Dawn:

Coming in with Big Piece Golem's first effect, Sirocco is basically the swarm starter (with Bora and Gale). His second effect, isn't always useful but with Bora, you can make your opponent really regret playing Marshmallon or Spirit Reaper.

Also NOTE: His effect is also good against mirror matches, because the ATK added includes the opponent's BWs.

I'd say he's best @ 2. In some cases 3, but be prepared to draw him at the wrong time. He's great as a first turn draw though. Pray for Joey luck.

 

4- Blackwing Armor Master:

The ace of BWs, is our first BW synchro too. He is indestructable in battle and can't take damage. WIN. His other "wedge" effect is alot of fun too, but kinda slow most of the time. Still good at times though. He can also be easily SyS'd by Gale and Bora. He works with Bora pretty well too.

At most, I'd say @2. 3 is overkill.

 

Support

In CRMS, BWs only recieved 1 support card :( :

 

1- Raptor Wing Strike:

Well.....it gives Kalut a more Honesty effect, but we'll go into him tommorrow. This card is not really good here. At all.

At most, with RGBT BWs, 1. And that's pushing it.

CyDra is SSed BPG is Normal Sumoned with no tributes. BPG is better here :P
