"ok then" Raphael said "be right back"

Raphael dashed quickly and grabbed something from his tent adn ran back "ok im ready"

Jared kneeled down. "Well, the Diabolus Leader contacted me today. And he can control people. Everything."

"what?!" Raphael asked as he thought of how that might be possible

[Felix Culpa]

Jared laughed. "I can't explain it myself, but he made Leon leave he and I alone and kept me from standing."

"how are we supposed to beat that?" Raphael asked

[Felix Culpa]

Jared smiled. "We can't."

Raphael stood and thought "were never gonna win against Diabolus!"

Natalie just leaned against a tree.

Jared got up. "Well, I'm going to the Headquarters."

"well im comming with you" Raphael said

[Felix Culpa]

"No, you aren't," Jared said. "It's too dangerous. And Natalie is probably getting anxious that we're sitting here and she's been interrupted."

 

Jared hoisted a backpack onto his shoulders and hiked up a trail to a remote spot.

"you may be right but you cant go alone if what you tell me is true let Asuka go atleast" Raphael said trying to convince him to not go alone

[Felix Culpa]

Jared laughed. "Why would you care if Asuka came? I'm going now. So unless Asuka is magically waiting for me at the top of the mountain..."

"i can tell him i run fast and i left some life force in him just in case!" Raphael said beginning to get mad

[Felix Culpa]

"I'm leaving, now," Jared said, dashing up the mountain at full speed, pretty much flying over the roots, rocks, and logs.

 

He opened a portal to the Demon Realm, focusing on the Diabolus Headquarters.

Asuka dashed up to Raphael and asked "where is Jared" "he left..."

[Felix Culpa]

Jared walked forward, shielding his eyes from the raging winds of the desert around him. He walked forward, a latch opening. A giant hissing sound released as part of the ground came up at an angle, revealing a staircase. Jared descended the staircase looking at all the different sealed doors around him. He could occasionally hear voices past the doors, but most of them ceased after Jared walked by. He could see the shadows of people moving through a tiny window inlaid in each door.

 

He walked forward until he reached a large foyer. Different unmarked paths. Now which way leads to Marcus.

 

Jared reached out with his energy, trying to find Marcus. Instead, he located a powerful dark energy forcing back at him. Well, that's a good a path as any.

 

Jared walked down a path on the left, toward the menacing energy.

Byron was shocked when he heard that Jared went to Diabolus Headquarters. "He WHAT?!"

 

Byron paced back and forth. "How could he do something so foolish?! I must leave."

"he went alone?!" Asuka asked "yes i couldn't stop him im sorry"

Jared sat down near the energy source, trying to figure it out. Zachary, he thought instantly.

"man ok we have to get there before something bad happens" Asuka said as Raphael said searching for the Diabolus HQ

Jared walked forward, twisting the nob slowly. Well, Zachary, Jared said, Are you going to kill me?

 

Byron appeared behind Jared. "Stop."
