The funny part is, the CN Real ratings were so bad that CN wouldn't even release the ratings. An ex-employer told about it though. He said the ratings dropped phenomenally.

 

And instead of taking them off the air, they're shoving it down our faces and are considering cancelling Chowder and Flapjack. Oh, and they're considering a network name change. >> Greatest marketing strategy evar.

The Othersiders

 

· The premiere of The Othersiders earned a kids 6-11 (2.1 cvg/1.8 ntl), boys 6-11 (2.8 cvg/2.4 ntl), tweens 9-14 (2.1 cvg/1.9 ntl) and boys 9-14 (3.1 cvg/2.7 ntl), ranking as one of the lowest rated series premieres in Cartoon Network's history with kids 6-11.

 

· Ratings for The Othersiders were generally up from its lead-in and the prior four weeks, but were mixed versus the year-ago programming.

 

· It ranked as the #4 program on broadcast and basic cable in the time period with kids 6-11 (behind Nickelodeon, Disney Channel and ABC), #3 with boys 6-11 and tweens 9-14 (behind Nickelodeon and Disney Channel) and #2 with boys 9-14 – behind Nickelodeon.

 

· The Othersiders was Cartoon's #1 program of the day with tweens 9-14.

 

* The Othersiders ranked as the #4 telecast on Cartoon Network for the day (06/17/09) with kids 6-11 (tied with Batman: The Brave and The Bold at 8:30am), #7 with boys 6-11 (tied with Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D at 9:00am), #1 with tweens 9-14 and #2 with boys 9-14.

 

* The premiere ranked as the #4 program on broadcast and basic cable in the time period with kids 6-11 (behind Nickelodeon, Disney Channel and ABC), #3 with boys 6-11 and tweens 9-14 (behind Nickelodeon and Disney Channel) and #2 with boys 9-14 – behind Nickelodeon.

 

* The Othersiders overindexed Cartoon Network in total day with kids and boys 6-11, but not in prime. Tweens and boys 9-14 overindexed the network in both total day and prime.

 

Survive This

 

· The 8:30pm premiere of Survive This garnered a kids 6-11 (2.2 cvg/1.9 ntl), boys 6-11 (3.1 cvg/2.7 ntl), tweens 9-14 (1.9 cvg/1.7 ntl) and a boys 9-14 (3.0 cvg/2.6 ntl), and was also one of the lowest rated series premieres in Cartoon's history.

 

· Survive This was down with kids and boys 6-11 versus its lead-in and historical benchmarks, but was up with tweens 9-14 and boys 9-14.

 

· The premiere ranked as the #4 program on broadcast and basic cable in the time period with kids 6-11, boys 6-11 and tweens 9-14 (behind Nickelodeon, Disney Channel and ABC) and #3 with boys 9-14 – behind Nickelodeon and Disney Channel.

 

· Survive This ranked as the #2 telecast on Cartoon Network for the day (06/17/09) with kids 6-11 (tied with Johnny Test at 7:30am), #4 with boys 6-11 and #3 with tweens 9-14 and boys 9-14.

 

· The premiere ranked as the #4 program on broadcast and basic cable in the time period with kids 6-11, boys 6-11 and tweens 9-14 (behind Nickelodeon, Disney Channel and ABC) and #3 with boys 9-14 – behind Nickelodeon and Disney Channel.

 

· Survive This overindexed Cartoon Network in total day and prime with kids and boys 6-11 and 9-14.
