Remove 12 of your Speed Counters to destroy all monsters your opponent controls.

 

if a Speed World format was real, would this be banworthy due to its requirement of 12 speed counters, which means the earliest you could play this is turn 6 or 7 (your 6st or 7th turn) and considering if you take battle damage you lose counters?

I have no idea what the card pool for Speed Spells is and what their various restrictions are.

The card pool isnt very big' date=' theres only like 60 speed spells in the YGO game. Most are just speed versions of cards in the tcg, ex Harpies Feather, Heavy, monster reborn, etc. However you only gain 1 speed counter each standby phase (both yours and your opponents) and lose a speed counter each time you receive 1000 or more LP damage (or 2 for 2000, etc). Also many original speed spells lower your opponents speed counters. and the highest you can have is 12 I think

 

you only need to remove 10 SPELL counters on mega ton magical cannon to destroy all cards on the field so i dont think so

 

But that also blows up your field so I kinda have to lean toward Raigeki as the better one.

Unless the Speed World format is so drastically different that Diamond Dude into Speed World Raigeki is a problem while Diamond Dude into Des Croaking is fine in the real game, I'm going to have to call lolycm on this one.

So, You never use Speed Spells?

Basicly' date=' You get Spell Counter-specific cards, in addition to generic bad cards that were turned into Speed Spells.

 

No, there is no Speed Spell verson for:

Allure

D-Draw

Dark World Dealings

Toon Table

Hand Collapse

and a bunch of generic draw cards.

 

The only real Draw cards that there are, are random semi-situational ones that usually suck.

 

Needing 12 Speed Counters makes this card terrible. Most likely, the duel will be over by the time you actually get 12.

It's the DAD Meta.

Even if Speed-Spell Raigeki is at 3, Players will still laugh at them(and they wont get used at all)

So, You never use Speed Spells?

 

Rarely. And none of them take away Speed Counters.

 

I'm only running My Body as a Shield and Offerings to the Doomed Speed Spells in my current Turbo deck. They have minimum Speed Counter requirements, but don't cost any.

wrong, the fact that spells now need or cost counters to play makes turbo duels last longer (ironic, isn't it?) than normal duels since spell cards can't be spamed to help you draw what you need, and kill spells like heavy storm and mst are also in the 6 counter range or so.

 

 

however, it isn't that hard to gather up speed counters if you invest in the acel pack a it. cards like des accelerator (trap, effect = 300 damage taken = 1 speed counter from last damage taken) help a ton, even though I usualy only use speed counters to draw, they also help with some of the taps, like speed booster, with is like scrap iron, but adds in a burn effect for 100 X the diff. in speed counters during your turn.

 

raigeki still isn't that useful at the cost of 12 though, it can't be played most of the time, and on top of that, now your empty again, and can't any other spells for the turn, at the least.
