Seven Up and Seven Down (Original mid-high-level RP, accepting now by PM, STARTED)

God’s decided that it’s high-time for Heaven to get a renovation. Things are becoming stagnant and corrupted, with the archangels abusing their power to extremes. However, since God cannot destroy, He’s decided on an alternate route. Selecting 7 teenagers, one for each of the seven virtues, from the small town of Nijigaoka, Japan as His heirs, God decided that they will become his new archangels, bringing them up to Heaven in exactly one month. However, the archangels didn’t like this new order, and corrupted the heirs, cursing each of them with one of the seven sins, one to each. This will eventually… well, drag them down under. These curses are a double-sided sword, though; the kids can access demonic forms in order to strike down their opposition. So, to make it short, the heirs have one month to get the curses removed and fight the corrupted archangels. Can they do it, or will they die trying?

3) There are exactly 7 heirs. No more, no less. At a future point, I will allow characters with other supernatural abilities, but until then, you can only make an heir. Archangels are not available initially, but will be at a point in the near future.

4) This is an advanced RP, so I’m expecting high-quality RPing. Since heirs are central to the plot, I can’t cut your character that easily, so if you’re going to do it, prepare to stick with it, and do it well.

5) I have all rights to reject your profile or ask you to make changes through PM.

6) We will eventually be able to RP more than one character at once.

Appearance: Isn't too tall, hardly 5 feet. She looks cute, inoffensive, and smart. She has a nice smile with her shiny white teeth. She has a blue hair with a light green on the sidelines. Blue eyes. She looks younger than her age. She has muscles, but not in excess.

Personality: Whenever you raise your arm near her, she flinches. She cries a lot, and gets scared easily. But the cries turn into wrath, to be explained. She smiles a lot, in a sad way. She is friendly most of the time, yet, shy. She has a knack in math, and she is most of the time lost into her mind, thinking about problems and solving them. She also has a photographic memory. She boxes to make her anger go away. Iori is kinky on what she eats, and is neat. She does not like being dirty and on a chaotic environment. Whenever something is out of control, she just stops doing anything, and thinks for a while until she can tell everyone how to fix the problem and get out of it.

Demon Aura: Iori grows a furry tail and her body shrinks a bit. Then she grows more red hair in her arms and her facial characteristics become more rude. Then her spine becomes more flexible and gains an incredible ability. She turns into a scarlet mixture of a human and a monkey.

Demon Powers: When Iori activates her Demon Powers, she can have 2 effects. 1 is that she uses illusions to get people against 1 another, but the feeling is increased incredibly, because she also drags into the mind of people and encourages them into hating, like if she was your conscience. But each people see different things, and one may not be affected at all. One person may see nothing different, and the one that is being targeted can suddenly see that friend as something that is going to attack him, thus, he attacks the one that sees everything normal, making them fight. The effect can be with both receptors, and both see different things.

[spoiler=galesonic – Tatsuya Kazama – Heir of Luxuria (Lust)]Name: Tatsuya Kazama (風間 辰也, Kazama Tatsuya)

Age: 16

Appearance: Tatuya has long midnight blue, almost black hair that reaches barely at the shoulders and three strands in the front are spiked up. He wears a pair of glasses with gold frames over his blueish-black eyes. He stands at a height of 5 foot 6 inches and wears around school a blue blazer with a white school shirt with the top two unbuttoned, black pants with a black and gold belt, and black sneakers.

Personality: After reciveing the curse of Luxuria, Tatsuya acts more chivilrous than before and he seems a bit smarter than he was. He even has a side of him that makes him hit on most of the girls in the school and not regretting what he does most of the time when they are around him, uaually with bad results. However, he still sustained his 'wanting to be by himself' attitude.

Demon Aura: Tatsuya's demon aura is pink and almost looks human, but it however looks more like an angel. The only this that are visible are small bone wings covered in a red form of soot or blood that can extend and a pair of bright red eyes with pupils with black corneas surrounding the pupils, showing that someone is watching them and put them into slight paranoia, or striking fear into their subconcious.

Demon Powers: With his curse, he can use it to control inanimate objects within a 100 foot-radius and allow them to became animate for 2 minutes. In other words, he can use this power to make a certain object to move on their own for a limited amount of time until the power wears off.

Age: 16

Sin: Envy

Appearance: He sports red, shoulder length hair and red eyes. Normal attire is a black undershirt with a black vest. The pockets on the vest are red. He wears tennis shoes and blue shorts.

Personality: His personality didn't change much when he became an heir, still being a friendly person, albeit a tad on the lazy side. He isn't envious of possessions as much as he is positions of power. He usually has an ulterior motive to his actions towards his superiors, because he's well aware and familiar with the old saying "You catch more flies with honey then with vinegar". He does this to one-up his competitors and obtain any potential positions of power before they do.

Demon Aura: His aura is a pale green, and overall humanoid figure, except for two curved horns protruding out of the back of his head and two pairs of ragged, boney wings. Instead of legs, it has shadows reminiscent of tentacles.

Demon Powers: The name of his power is "Counterbalance", and it grants an ability fitting for the sin of Envy. By activating its power, Hikaru's physical attributes are supplemented to match any given person he wants, turning any battle or competition into a battle of wits over a battle of strength, so that Hikaru will never have to be jealous of the strengths of his foes... or friends.

[spoiler=Rinne – Kaname Hirasawa – Heir of Superbia (Pride)]Name: Kaname Hirasawa (平沢 要, Hirasawa Kaname)

Gender: Male

Age: 17

Sin: Pride

Appearance: Kaname has shoulder-length blond hair that's cut somewhat jaggedly and lays flat over his head. He has dark blue eyes that always seem aloof and focused on something in the difference, and a slender build with some muscle on it. Because of Superbia, Kaname’s more fashion-forward, keeping himself clean with somewhat-modern clothing. He usually wears a black jacket with elaborate silver designs on it open with a white shirt under it, along with a pair of neatly-pressed denim pants and high-end running shoes. (If you get him dirty, he won't like you.)

Personality: After receiving the curse of Superbia, Kaname’s become a bit more of a general jerk, acting somewhat more cold towards others. He also seems to have become more materialistic, taking special attention to his appearance. However, behind his icy façade lies a nice guy, who’s just confused on how to express himself instead of going with the flow. If you get to know him more, he’ll be more open to you, and even reveal his otaku-ish tendencies, the kind of person that he was like originally.

Demon Aura: A dark-purple color, Kaname’s aura is humanoid in appearance, and resembles the more traditional appearance of the Devil. The only easily-visible parts are a long alligator-like tail and two large curved horns, an image that could strike fright into anyone.

Demon Power: The seal of Pride has given Kaname the ability of “hierarchy manipulation”, or changing how things yield to each other. In essence, he can make the most passive of objects destroy the strongest of them. He usually uses this to create a spear of water or sand, which can pierce through solid steel with ease. Although Kaname could potentially do the opposite, he’s never tried it.

Appearance: Hideki sports a pair of golden eyes, with cheek-length black/blue hair. The bangs fall easily, kept out of his face by a light part in his hair just above his forehead. He's usually seen with a spaced out look on his face, sometimes smiling lazily, and other times appearing apathetic. His posture is typically stooped, and he tends to dress rather conservatively.

Most commonly, he wears long, wide sleeved shirts, sometimes accompanied by hoodie sweaters with similarly long sleeves (habitually, he enjoys sleeves that go past his hands). His choice of pants are often baggy, but not loose to the point of falling off his ass. They end in wide openings, much like is sleeves, and by consequence tend to cover up most of his shoes. Said shoes are a blue color - he owns two different pairs, one of them being strapped for when he can't be bothered to tie them.

Personality: Hideki is a very kind person, and he enjoys listening to other people, especially when they have some sort of problem. He enjoys blues, purples, and pale reds, as he finds them soothing. As is appropriate to his sin, he is rather lazy, and prefers to lie about and do nothing most of the time. Arguably, he was already considerably lazy before receiving his curse, and as such, it is far more noticable. Even his thinking can be lazy, and he tends to space out frequently. However, he hides a powerful intellect when he's in the mood to focus on it, and is capable of a frighteningly high level of tactical planning.

Despite his laziness, Hideki will lift a finger when he sees it's truly necessary, or when he thinks he can really help someone that no one else can. At the same time, he can be very choosy about which people deserve help, however.

Demon Aura: After being surrounded in a blue glow, Hideki looks like he has pointed, furry ears, slitted pupils, a leathery, snake-like tail, and a jaw-bone masky thing covering his mouth, looking similar to Halibel's.

Demon Powers: The Power of Sloth gives Hideki a Motion Dilation field. Upon activating the power, Hideki projects a spherical area of influence around him, up to 100 feet at max, though he can't sustain a field of that size for too long. Everything within the field experiences slowdown of varying intensity - the closer they get to Hideki, the slower their movements become. Once they are within three feet of him, their movements almost come to a standstill.

By adding additional power, Hideki sacrafices maintenance time (causing the field to expire in about five seconds) in exchange for completely freezing the movements of everyone in the field.

The power is limited in that it cannot affect moving objects, nor can it apply against other active powers - even if someone is completely frozen, they can still mentally direct their abilities, if possible.

This power is aptly called "Activity Suspension".

 

 

 

[spoiler=Appendix]Demon Auras – Normal humans feel suppressed and intimidated whenever an aura is released, but the Heirs cannot use them for too long. Only spiritually-aware beings can see them, and they take the form of demons, although not always humanoid. These auras grant their users more strength, endurance, and agility, but if evoked for too long can rob them of their sanity. The colors are listed below:

Sloth – Blue

Greed – Gold

Gluttony – Orange

Wrath – Red

Lust – Pink

Envy – Green

Pride – Violet

 

Demon Seals – Marks put on the 7 heirs that show that they have been cursed. Each one is on their respective right thumbnail, and is the name of their sin written in Greek and in their aura color. Like the auras, only spiritually-aware beings can see them.

RP Sample: Brandon went outside and noticed the ship. The ship stopped close to the ranger base and the three jet boosters stop. As the ship was falling to Earth, the back two jets became legs and the front bosster became a giant claw. As it landed, the machine was visible. the metal on the main part of the tripod machine was blue with camo designs and sported '09' on the side of the machine. "Oh no. It one of the world army's destruction robots." Brandon said as he took out his morpher. The machine raised its claw up in the sky and the bottom of the claw glowed a purple tint. It dropped the claw hard on the ground, cracking the surface it hit and an earhquake started. the building surround the machine suddenly broke and gave way from their weight, crashing onto the city floor. When the earthquake died down, most of the city was destroyed. The machine had a lot of power, enough to crush the city in one slam. The only that was stopping him from doing that was the L.E.E.C.H chips the Omega Rangers hold.

She has very small facial features in general except for her large eyes. Her shoulders are very slight. Her chest is... less than exceptional. She constantly seems emaciated. There is little difference between her waist and hips. Her limbs are quite long, and she has musician's hands.

Bleh, that was the most laborious passage I've written since second grade, at the latest. >.< I normally do these things in list form...

Personality: She changed very little after receiving her sin and virtue. She has dedicated herself utterly to the goal of helping others realize their true potential due to the virtue of Diligence, which means that her OCD is less intrusive and potent. At every instant of her life, however, she feels that she absolutely must be doing something to achieve her goal. No one will get in her way. Period.

Demon Aura: An acid-green dragon.

Demon Powers: By staying still, she can read the mind of an enemy more powerful than she.

Appearance: Medium length blue hair that is perfectly made. Sharp azure eyes behind sharper glasses. He often wears expensive clothing that are custom made. He is most often seen in a black sport jacket (the fancy jacket), matching black pants and a gold tie.

Personality: Having a natural knack for business, in elementary, middle and high school, Yusuke set up an underground school loaning system for students (posing as the Venture Capitalism Club) where the ones in debt were threatened with getting the authorities (their parents) involved. Yusuke was a cunning business man before and after the curse, but after the curse, he became more brutal in getting people to pay their debts, hiring the local bully and his merry band of thugs to do the intimidating. Due to his entreprenuership, he has a lot more money than most high schoolers and is able to afford custom made clothing and the latest in technology. Personality: Yamamoto is very Shy, Timid, and Lazy. He doesnt succed in anything or have any special skill. Yamamoto parents disowne him, hoping for a star child so he lives with a foster family that are thinking of disowning him aswell.

Demon Aura: Blue

Demon Powers: At will, he can become invisable (Clothes are invisable aswell) and invulnerable. Also by staring at his opponint he can make them into a sort of "Trance" as they go into his world of sadness.

RP Sample: Yamamoto walked to school with his backpack other only one shoulder. He slouched like normal and frowned while staring down on the ground. As he entered his class he was pusshed down and the person who pushed him didnt even bother to help him up. In Yamamotos mind, everything around him was dark and he was alone. He thought to himself: We even bother, I might die tomarow. Yamamoto sat like that untill the class bell woke him up from his trance. He quickly rused to his desk and waited for the rest of the day to unfold...

Appearance:

Rokujo is easily 6' 10'', usually wears dark blue or black skinny jeans, wears a semi tight T-shirt of full black, semi black with a few blood splatters. Arms and legs have semi good muscularity, how ever relys more on speed than muscle half of the time. Hair length at the back of his head is easily down to his neck, front hair is down to his eyes, and sides are below the ears. Eyes have full visibility of both Rokujo and the persons infront of him. Eyes are silverish gray, however, may appear to be just a light black.

Personality: Quite, angered quiet easily, shows hardly any kind emotion.

Demon Aura: Red for Wrath

Demon Powers: Rokujo's powers easily give him a power boost of at least 25% or more, depending on how enraged. His durability is also heightened by about 20% or more, also depending on how enraged. His speed is also quickened, by at least 5% percent, alas on how enraged. His fighting style is usually based on not letting the opponent get a chance to attack.

RP Sample:

Standing enraged by the death of his only love, Rokujo clenching his fists, charged at the killer with full ill intent of bloodlust. "You, you're going to die!!" The killer didn't expect a change in behavior by this much, sensing something coming from Rokujo. Even if he had a chance to run, Rokujo would be able to find him one day, and still kill him, in public or not.

Rokujo meanwhile was up in front of the killers face before he noticed, and struck him in the gut, and giving the back of the neck an elbow. The killer was now down on the ground, barely getting up. Rokujo was barely satisfied, he wanted more, more to satisfy the death that would soon be able to avenge the death of Rokujo's love.
