For one thing, the economy isn't getting better because of the citizens themselves. It's most likely the fault of the citizens that many companies have gone bankrupt. You stopped buying, the companies started losing money, they started firing their employees. That means, if you'd actually buy more, the companies would be able to make new job's and so on. If you'd buy more of their merchandise, the company would be able to live on. Also, there are taxes and so on. Don't complain about them, they are needed for the country to live. Where do you think the goverment get's the money from? Secondly, Obama promised change, yes, I know that, but get the ideam change will come...eventually. It's not like Obama is a mighty wizard of Hogwards who can change the economy with the flick of his wand. No sir, it will take time. And what, how long has Obama been in the White House for now, +6 months? If you think changing the economy will be changed at that small time and would be that easy, why don't you try it for yourself? And yes, I will agree that he should consider more on the economy that the gay rights, but maybe he has a reason for it? Maybe the gay rights thing has been too much of a drama and he wants to settle it for once and for all? How in the world do we know what he wants to accomplish? Everybody had a tough time getting jobs cause in the mid-area America, like Oklahoma, there was a Sand Storm there, that would kill people. So everybody moved West, to California, because of the amount of, we everything. However, jobs soon ran out, and women couldn't have jobs, no matter what. So, we don't want something like that.
