XxVenxX
Such a melodramatic situation, he said for "you" to stay away from his daughter, and said daughter wishes to hang out, and seeks you out, then there is simply no avoiding it -wink wink-. Besides, there comes a point in ones life where they shouldn't dwell on the fear of any given situation. As far as i'm concerned you are NOT a negative influence in your friends life, rather you are supportive and quite level headed. You first approached the situation by asking the father to calm down. This was of course the prime choice of action, as to not insult him. But he continued, thus insulting you in a much deeper tone then you calling him a "unsatisfactory" name. It sounds to me like he is rather controlling of your friend, instilling bad mannerisms into her, such as the throwing of the remote. Now here is where many people fail to comprehend what i am saying.Yes your friend lives in his house.Yes your friend is still a minor. [or so i've come to believe]BUT, that does not give her father the right to choose who her friends are AT ALL. He doesn't have that type of authority over her, and if he wishes to try and hold her back from sustaining this friendship, he will most likely end in failure.
