As long as this monster is on the field all Spellcaster-Type monsters (excluding this one) cannot be targeted to attack. If this monster is destroyed by battle Special Summon 1 Level 5 or lower Spellcaster-Type monster from your Graveyard. Scarlet MageThis monster can only be used in a Synchro Summon with "The Spellcaster of Vanity". It's not too difficult to fetch out Scarlet Mage with several cards that the deck has, and if your opponent doesn't have DM or DMG (which in themselves are pretty bad cards), you're pretty much set for a Synchro Summon.
