Google Chrome FTW.

More like WT-?!? FireFox is better.[/opinion]

Chrome is for netbooks. It won't give users nearly as much flexibiliy on a PC. Plus Windows 7 is coming out in a few months and it's a LOT better than Vista or any other OS (I've used it)

Chrome?

This is about the OS,it's not said whether it will be designed like chrome

Firefox portable has never been too stable for me, I don't know why.

Firefox = Power, customizability, extensibility

Chrome = Speed, simplicity, built-ins

Cross out what doesn't matter to you, and there you have which one you should use. I don't think there should be any conflict between the 2 best browsers, I use both.

Being called chrome doesn't mean it will be designed like the google chrome.

And the new post says the first few models are netbooks,not the entire line of Chrome OS are netbooks. Since netbooks are designed for internet browsing,and google has many other web-application so it wouldn't really matter if it wasn't designed to do other things

I suppose IE8 is better than IE7 or IE6. But wait! I tried to install the IE8 beta a while back, but it crashed every time. Now I try to download it again, but it doesn't want to install over the other one. Microsoft, are you trying to make it easy for me to ignore what may be your first decent browser?
