Lazer Yoshi
I go back in a couple weeks.Would have been a few more if they hadn't added more school days at the last minute. Not that I don't love School; it's pretty fun. I like some subjects and 99% of my friends are there. But, really, another week isn't too much to ask.
Lemniscate
I actually want to go back to school, but my schedule is going to be rough: - AP English- AP Chemistry- AP Statistics- AP US History- Spanish 2- Academic Competition (which is Speech, Debate, Decathlon, and Mock Trial) That, and I'm an officer in 3 clubs. Believer's Club (Vice President), Student Gate Advisory Committee (Junior Class Representative, and Webmaster), and Academic Competition (Historian)
Sid.
4 Ap's in a year is murder. What kind of career are you trying to get with that kind of schmedule?
Lemniscate
I am looking to study Economics once I get out of high school (hence the Calculus over the summer, and the Stats in the regular year). The Academic Comp teacher is also the head Econ teacher, so I talk with her a lot about Econ, the rest is either for GPA, enjoying the subject (I love Chemistry), or having to take it (Spanish 2). I currently have the 6th highest GPA in my grade. I would be first, except my Spanish teacher this last year was retiring, and so he never taught anything, and when I got to the final he had only taught half the material, and I got a C. God he was annoying.
Sid.
But dont you think that the other two AP's could be replaced by something MUCH more useful? Dont they teach Economics at your school? They do at mine, and they have AP for it too...
Lemniscate
Yeah, but you can't take it until you're a senior. I would take IB classes, except my school doesn't offer them, so I just do as many other things to compensate. That's why I attended Johns Hopkins University's Center for Talented Youth program two years in a row (I would have gone more times, but they raised their prices, so we couldn't afford it anymore). Also, even if I wanted to change, I have to take another 2 English classes, another 2 Science classes, another 2 foreign language classes, and another history class to graduate at the end of senior year anyway. Trust me, this is the schedule I need.

The Slime Lord
hahahahaha USA sucks I don't have to go to school untill 6 more weeks I live in the US, and I'm going back to school in a little more than 6 weeks... I don't really mind going back to school. It's going to be my last year in high school, and I kind of want to get it over with. I'm getting pretty sick of high school. I'm looking forward to college. But first, I have to finish a few summer assignments... :/

The Crimson King
Yeah' date=' but you can't take it until you're a senior. Trust me, this is the schedule I need.[/quote']Yeah, I've just had to take 3 IB courses myself this year. They were pretty hard, but I managed to do ok. I think the hardest thing about the IB/AP program is all of the extra requirements that have to be fulfilled in order to get the certificates, and the added workload if you're going for the full diploma. My school requires 4 semesters of a foreign language, so I took Japanese. It seemed pretty hard at first, but then it was easy, and then it was hard again. Anyway, how many credits does your school require for graduation?
