OK... This is kinda embarassing. But I wanna know if this is normal for a seventeen year old dude....

Well OK...

See, for the past few nights I've been wetting the bed. I'm not sure what's wrong with me, see, I stopped wetting the bed when I was eleven (a little late, I know). So I'm not sure if it's been getting back to me or now. But, please, tell me, if you will, is this a normal thing? Or do you think it will pass? See, if I do it again tonight, I know something is wrong with me. Any opinions on normality would be nice, I just must know.

Well it is normal for a person who is potty trained to occasionally wet the bed

It has to do with brain activity during deep stages of sleep sometimes the brain during these stages forgets to hold the bladder

It should stop however if it persits see a urologist

And for what reason did you ignore asking your parents or other older relatives, whom were once 17 year-olds, if this is normal. But instead you ask a bunch of kids who are around the age of 8-13 this question? And to remind you thousands of guests a day reading this?

I don't think its normal, just go to the bathroom before bed and don't drink too much liquids.

Or, you might be getting bad dreams, if thats it. Talk to your parents or thereapist to solve why you're having nightmares

See, I don't like talking to my family about this stuff. I perfer to ask a bunch of people I don't know to state the fact of the normality. Any yes I do think it may be dreams, I'm just unsure of this all.

It's probably just dreams and deep sleep activities like someone said before. I used to have a lot of trouble with bed-wetting when I was younger, and it got to the point where my mom took me to see a doctor. The doctor told my mom it's common for kids/teenagers and sometimes even adults to go through short phases like this as it's usually caused by dreams and such and can happen to pretty much anyone at any time. Though, I was informed to seek farther help if it happened for longer than a week or so.

So, basically, my advice would be to lay down towels on your bed and be prepared just in case you wake up wet. If it continues, I would definitely call a doctor and see what they have to say. But, as of right now, I don't really see anything you should be worried about.

I know just how you feel. Sometimes you think that your family can't be trusted or won't take you seriously, right?

And do you happen to like any girl, because these "wet dreams" might just be you dreaming about the girl(not mean to be mean or insulting).

Yeah, I'll do that for sure. I think I should call the doctor.

Yes I do actually. You may be onto something.

Thanks for the advise everybody.
