Also, the fact that it's removed face-down makes the card nigh-impossible to get out of the RFP zone if DDC gets destroyed.

Isn't this like another one of those topics where we get a bunch of posts saying "It's like Gold Sarcophagus but worse because it has to remain face-up on the field for two turns and your opponent can easily destroy it."?

if you ignore gold sarc, the card is still terrible.

heres the reasons:

if it gets destroyed, you lose that card permanently.

theres no card i know of that lets you grab a face-down removed from play card.
