jabber2033
Here it is: the cover card for my planned 40-card Structure Deck, Dragon's Light. It took me all of an hour to find the pic on Photobucket and come up with an effect. Any OCG fixes and pointers would help tremendously. [spoiler=Card Effect]This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card cannot be Special Summoned except by removing from play 5 Dragon-Type Monsters in your Graveyard. One of the cards removed from play by this Special Summon must be a LIGHT monster. If this card attacks, discard 1 card from your hand. If this card inflicts battle damage to your opponent, draw 1 card. So what you all think? Good? Bad? Epic Fail? Comments are appreciated. Also, anyone who wants to send me pics and come up with effects and card names for my structure deck will get a +rep. Just send me a PM with your ideas. I will also credit you in the final project. Just typed in "dragon" in the search box. I forget what page it was on, though.
byak
Instead of "This card can only be Special Summoned by" it should be "This card cannot be Special Summoned except by".Otherwise, it's really good. (b'-')b
Deucalion
This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card cannot be Special Summoned, except by removing 3 LIGHT Monsters or 3 Dragon-Type Monsters from your Graveyard. If this card attacks, discard 1 card from your hand. If this card inflicts battle damage to your opponent, draw 1 card. Should be a comma after Special Summoned, although it's the Oxford comma and a matter of personal taste. Helps clarify. By battle would mean you'd have to discard a card if it was attacked, as well as if it was attacking. Now, that may be deliberate, but I just thought I'd point it out for verification. This card is ridiculously over-powered. In a Lightsworn Deck, this would be almost unstoppable, because getting 3 LIGHT monsters in the Graveyard will happen in the first few turns, and his discard/draw thing means you could shuffle Lightsworn cards incredibly quickly. The picture is a very good one, but not quite the YuGiOh style. Very original. Balance: 6/10OCG: 8/10Pic: 9/10Originality: 10/10 Overall: 82.5%. Just needs balance fixes and OCG corrections to be a very respectable cards. My advice is to make the required summoning material always three Dragons. That way, Lightsworn decks would have to lose all three Gragoniths before summoning, which would limit their power to an extent and prevent this card from being summoned too early. Deucalion
3 Dragon-type monster monsters doesn't need to be capitalized, so, it wouldn't be Monsters in that second sentence. except by removing from play removing isn't usually used on its own. Removing from play stops any possible ambiguity. I went and did some searching to find what the average summoning conditions for 3500 ATK monsters is, and most of them are really very difficult to summon. If you take Dark Rainbow Dragon and Rainbow Dragon, for example, they require seven monsters of a specific type in the Graveyard. For the same attack, you need three. I'd suggest nerfing the ATK to around 3000, and the DEF to around 2500. Sorry, I missed that earlier.
jabber2033
Instead of decreasing the ATK and DEF, what about increasing the removal cost or changing it to having monsters on the field rather than the Grave?

jabber2033
good pic but it's been used before. good original name and good effect 9.7/10 Thanks. I haven't been doing much card making, so I don't really know which pics are overused (I usually hang out in the YOUR DECK section of this site). @Deucalion: I changed the effect and uploaded the new card. Thanks for all the help! You definitely deserve a +rep.
