if i have Macro Cosmos or Dimensional Fissure face up on the field, can i activate FOolish Burial?

 

if so, will the monster be removed from play?

 

if so, if i remove DD Survivor, will it be special summoned by its effect?

You can't activate Foolish Burial as it being sent to the graveyard is a requirement I think.

It CAN be used, it isn't a requirement, it happens INSTEAD.

So, the card will be sent to RFP INSTEAD of to Grave.

 

Not sure though...

 

I mean, look at the combo of Macro Cosmos and Gravekeeper's Servant. The opponent can't attack, can he? Compare Servants and Foolish effects.

Of course not! Read clearly: When this face-up card is removed from play, Special Summon it during the End Phase.

 

It has to be face up on the field to special summon it. If you discard it, it doesn't work. If you mill it out, it doesn't work. If your opponent Book of Moons it, then it doesn't work. It has to be face-up before being attacked, not if fliped face-up during the process, or that doesn't count.

 

No costs that require anything going to the graveyard can be activated. Discard effects like Snipe Hunter don't rely on going to the graveyard, so it can still be activated. Costs like Horus the Black Flame Dragon LV4 sending itself to the grave cannot be activated.

 

But effects of cards, not cost, that send cards to the grave can be activated, no matter if Macro cosmos/Dimensional Fissure is on the field. Such effects include Polymeriztion, The Cheerful Coffin, and Foolish Burial. The cards will just be immediatly removed. So you can activate Future Fusion since sending cards is part of the effect, and they will all be removed immediatly, and then you can RftDD tham.

 

So, you can use Foolish Burial to remove D.D. Survior, but his effect won't activate since he wasn't face-up on the field. How ever, D.D. Scout Plane will, since it doesn't require it being on the field.

 

Effects that send to the grave CAN be activated, costs that send CANNOT be used while Macro Cosmos is on the field. Card Trooper CAN send 3 cards to the grave and immediatly remove them, but he doesn't go to the grave for an extra card.
