As long as you were not at fault, there should be no real issue as long as you stay away from it. I bet a lot of people talk about me behind my back due to how I acted in my earlier days on YCM, but I don't go and pursue it every time I hear about it, because I only know that that is going to cause trouble, and in the end it's only going to hurt me most of all in the end. It's the same with you now. If you leave it alone, it'll eventually pass. It will never go away if you keep poking and prodding at the issue instead of letting it die down on its own though. If you walk away and they continue the hate fest without you there, Wouldn't that just make you a little more mature then them? Also, it's continuance is mostly depandant on you being there.
