[align=center] PLOT

For centuries, duel monsters and humans have inhabited entirely different worlds, and even while duel monsters had the ability to pass into the human world under certain circumstances, a human has never before been permitted in the land of duel monsters.

Until now, that is.

Unfortunately, the allowance into the world is anything but a casual visit.

A powerful monster, known only as the Puppet Master, has recently been disturbing the long lived peace of their world. Not only does he have a group of very dedicated underlings, but he has the ability to control any monster, though he had a particularly strong influence over fiend type monsters.

The inhabitants are powerless to stop him, any monster whom tries to stand up to the Puppet Master becomes a slave to his mind control. Thus, they are powerless to stop him, and too afraid to oppose him.

A word of hope has spread across the land, in the form of a wandering prophet with a prediction. The cloaked humanoid claims that humans hold the ability to save their world from the 'evil one.' She travels from village to village, claiming that the bond between a monster and a human is something the Puppet Master cannot break.

Unfortunately, most disregard her words, thinking her to be a babbling fool that cannot face the end. However, a ragtag group of duel monsters are willing to believe her words if it means saving their world, and desperately cling to their hopes of vanquishing the Puppet Master.

These monsters are going to do the unthinkable. They are going to bring humans into a world where even the weakest of creatures can destroy them on a whim!

INFO

Attack, defense, and effects of the cards mean nothing here. They are null and void. Choose a monster that you like, though make sure it is reasonable. For instance, a hulking Blue Eyes White Dragon stalking after the group would not work. - On the other hand, if you wanted a baby Blue Eyes, that would be acceptable, but whom really wants to babysit at such an urgent time?

For the moment, you are allowed two humans, and two monsters as main characters. More monsters will join us as we go, so there will be plenty of chances to meet your favorites.

Our starting monsters will know one another, they have joined in the group to stop the demise of their world, so they should at least know one another a little bit. This is for no reason other then the fact that it helps to get things rolling quicker.

Also, please try for a variety in the type of monster you pick, if we have like 4689789 of one type of monster and nothing else, we'll be at a disadvantage!

The point of this whole RP was to have at least one human and one monster character, anyone signing up from now on must have both, because we need more than three humans. .-.

BrokenHeart, a regular Thousand-Eyes Restrict is too big, you can however have a young Thousand-Eyes Restrict, or perhaps one with studded growth?

Same goes to you about the One-Hundred Eye Dragon, Kiryu, I'm thinking full grown is too big, but you can have a young one. ^^

Dark Balter the Terrible is fine, ANBU.

As is Vampire Lady, Pragboy. And thank you for the compliment. :3

Ivery much like the variety in monster types. Very nice so far. :3

Am I the only one whom wants to play a human? XD - Remember that without one your monster is vulnerable to the Puppet Master. It's fine if you don't want one, I just assumed everyone would so I'm a little surprised. xD

In the world of duel monsters, a Rapid-Fire Magician knelt on one knee before a mighty shrine. He extended one hand towards the stone statue, while his closed eyes faced the earth beneath him, "Mighty Tethys, Goddess of Light, I have heard the word of the wandering fortune teller, and have come to ask you if this is true." He did not falter as he heard the jeers of those passing by, and simply continued to speak, "Please, m'lady, I know you cannot respond to me directly, but I beg of you to help me save my homeland."

His head remained bowed even when he had finished speaking, waiting for some sign from the beautiful goddess, whom the other monsters seemed to doubt was listening to the ramblings of Rapid, the local fool.

---

However, this was not the case. The goddess was listening intently to the pleas of the mage, contemplating his words. She turned to one of her many companions, those divine monsters that oversaw the world, but were no longer allowed to step down to intervene. Particularly, she turned to her good friend, the Different Dimension Master.

"What do you think?" She asked the odd man, peering expectantly at him as she waited for a response.

"I think, that we are not allowed to help one side, or the other," He responded, tone bland and without emotion, though the quivering of his tightened fist said he wished otherwise. "We are doomed to watch our world die, we cannot do anything, it is against the rules."

Tethys gave a sad nod, moving to stand alone, she held her chin thoughtfully in one hand, choosing her words carefully, "You know... There's no guarantee that the humans will help or hinder either side," she began to say, her arms slowly dropping to her sides, "I'd consider them to be an unpredictable variable, wouldn't you?" She then asked, slowly turning to face the man she was speaking to.

DDM, as most of the others called him, cracked a smile, releasing a soft laugh, "I see you've thought this through," he watched her nod and moved to a window of their grand palace, peering out at the sky, which was all he could see from their floating paradise. "Fair enough. I haven't the will to say no to such logic." He held a hand out the window, a purple energy forming around it as he shut his eyes, "Destiny, bring forth those mortals that fate has chosen," he whispered to himself, closing his eyes and concentrating his powers on pulling mortals for their dimension.

---

Meanwhile, Riley sat with her back against the headboard of her bed. On her lap rest a book, a guide to all of the card in the ever popular duel monsters game, which was an ongoing obsession of the masses. She flicked her dark hair from her eyes, licking his finger with the tip of her tongue and turning the page.

For a moment, she considered what it would have been like to see one of these monsters, in the flesh and blood, like in the popular cartoon. She chuckled at the thought, however, thinking herself childish for even considering such a thing.

Her eyes scanned the pages, but the sunlight dancing across the images faltered, and then there was darkness in the room. She furrowed her brows, rising from her bed and moving to her open window. As she leaned out through her window in order to view the sky, which now looked much like a vortex, she felt her feet beginning to lift from the floor. As she was hoisted from her home by some invisible force, the book slipped from her hand, falling limply into her yard, the last trace of her presence on earth.

---

Back in the world of duel monsters, Rapid's head slowly lifted, having been waiting for what seemed an eternity for a response, he had finally given in. "Even the gods think I'm a fool, it seems," he murmured, as he rose to his full height.

A heavy sigh left him, "That's it then. This is the end." He stated, hands moving to rest on his hips as one foot kicked the ground, "I just wish I could've done something."

A roll of thunder sounded, and the sky darkened an unnatural shade of deep purple that startled most, though the lights that shot from the oddly colored clouds was far more disconcerting.

Rapid was nearly knocked off of his legs as monsters rushed to find their homes, screaming that the sky was falling. Unlike them, he thought the falling light a beacon of hope. As the thing fell to earth, he shielded his eyes, becoming aware of how close to him it would land. He braced himself for an impact, expecting the ground to split and crumble under some great force, but none came.

As he slowly opened his eyes, he heard the far off chirping of birds. The sky had cleared to a beautiful blue, and the clouds were as white as fresh snow. He was awed by the abrupt changes, but this distracted him only briefly. He was determined to find the source of the light.

Unfortunately for him, it had landed in the forest, not as close to him as he had originally thought. As he sprinted along a stone path, he failed to notice the fearful, superstitious folk of the village emerging from their homes, and further more, begin to follow him.

He rest a hand on his hat, afraid he would lose it in the run, he entered a clearing that had never before existed in the forest, to see something laying in the center, skin aglow. As he neared it, the glowing faded, allowing him to clearly see what lay before him.

"A human!" He gasped, kneeling in the grass and taking the girl into his arms. His eyes looked her over, and he smiled brilliantly, holding a hand towards the sky, "Oh, thank you great goddess for blessing me with this human," he called, voice filled with glee.

His happiness did not fade as he heard the gasping and whispering of those monsters that had followed him. "Look, the goddess of light has blessed us with a human, we're saved!" He declared, rising and holding the flesh creature in his arms.

A rather angry Battle Ox stepped forth, shaking it's massive head, "It fell from the darkness, it's a bad omen!" He yelled, and clearly had the support of those monsters behind him, "It must be destroyed before it wakes and kills us all!"

"Destroyed? Didn't you hear what the wandering prophet said? Humans will save us! It can help us defeat the Puppet Master!" Rapid argued, taking a step back as the crowd approached him.

Riley stirred in his arms, her eyes sliding open, though her body remained still. She stared up at the stranger, thinking him to look familiar, though her blurred vision did not allow her to see him clearly.

"We have to kill it now, hurry, hand it over, I will do it myself," the Battle Ox lifted it's mighty axe, giving a mock swing and indicating how he would exterminate the human. Once more, the crowd cheered him on.

"No, you can't kill it, I found it, it's my human!" Rapid yelled, continuing to step away from the malicious group, protectively holding the human against his body.

Riley turned her head, peering at the Battle Ox with a bewildered expression, she gasped and attempted to squirm free of Rapid's gasp.

"It's awoken!" Screamed a Mystical Elf, whom them fainted into the arms of the Lightsworn Mender, Jenis.

"It has, Rapid, it may already be too late, just hand it over," the Battle Ox demanded, though seemed hesitant to get any closer.

"It? I'm a girl," Riley pointed out, her feet finally touching the ground as what she recognized as the Rapid-Fire Magician set her on her feet.

"It can talk!" Gasped a member of the crowd, all of which seemed to be floored by the discovery, including the great Battle Ox, whom seemed to be kept at bay, at least for the moment.

Rapid took this oppourtunity to grab the human and run for it. He grasped her wrist, dragging her through the trees, knowing exactly where he was headed.

Riley stumbled after him, not knowing exactly what was going on, though judging by the mad rush of the duel monsters that chased them, she assumed that she must be in some sort of trouble. She furrowed her brows. Duel monsters were chasing her? In fact, one was dragging her. She tried to wrench herself free from his grasp, and demand some answers, but set the thought aside as she realized her life was in danger.

"Hurry, human, we're almost there," Rapid said, speeding up, he leaped over a stump, dragging the human over it as well, though much less smoothly. He hoped humans weren't as fragile as myths said them to be as they burst through the trees and out into the open, which was blocked by a large wooden gate and wall that fenced the village, which was not fond of strangers.

Rapid, however, was no stranger. He lived in this village, though had been nearer the neighboring village to pray at the shrine of Tethys.

His fist, which was a ghastly white, slammed on the gates, "Hurry! They're trying ti kill me," he called, hitting the door harder and harder, frantically looking back to see how close their pursuers were to catching them. He winced, seeing that they were merely footsteps away.

As if on cue, monsters armed with bows and arrowing sprung along the towards near the entrance, reading to fire at the intruders at the command of their leader.

The spineless Battle Ox quickly lost his never, retreating in defeat, though not without yelling to Rapid, saying that he would meet his end, and soon.

Rapid felt a wave of relief splash over him as the gates open, allowing them entry. He was equally glad that they did not question his guest. Most monsters did not seem to take too kindly to humans, but hopefully, he could find some at his favorite hang out, the local tavern, which would.

Finally, as they stepped within the walls of the village, he released his somewhat sweaty grasp on the human's wrist, and turned to her, taking her hands in his own, "I apologize, human, for what you just endured, but it was for your own good," he told her, then backed off, hands perching on his hips as he observed her, "Were you injured?"

The very dazed Riley gazed back at him, confusion clouding her eyes. She swallowed a hard lump in her throat, attempting to speak, but finding her voice to be hoarse. She hastily cleared her throat, and shook her head.

Rapid frowned deeply, "I'm sorry, m'lady," he told her, as he was no aware that she was indeed a female, bowing apologetically before her, "I didn't not mean for any harm to come to you," he pointed out.

Riley eyed him suspiciously, rubbing a mark on her arm that would surely become a bruise within the next couple of days, "Who exactly are you?" She demanded, her confusion masking itself as anger, so that she would not seem so helpless.

"Oh! Forgive me for my lack of manners!" He said, removing his hat from his head and doubling over in front of her once more, "Rapid, at your service," he said, then lightly took her hand, stroking the red marks on her wrist that he had caused, "And what may I call you?

"Er. My name is Riley..." She murmured, pulling her hand towards her torso and cradling it protectively.

"Riley? What an interesting name," he mused, smiling widely, he returned his hat to his head and slipped an arm around her shoulders, "Come, I wish to introduce you to my friends," he pointed out, leading her along without giving her a chance to protest, as she apparently had no say in the matter.

(Woah, my hands are dead from typing that. XD

Anyways, those of you with human, just so you know, the 'lights' that came from the sky did not just bring Riley, it also brought your humans, just at different locations. Feel free to play around with how your monster found your human.

Everyone, should be heading to the tavern Rapid mentioned, or at least be in the general area, as Rapid is going to try to wrangle a group of 'heros' to set out on their journey.)

"...Your ignorance will be your downfall" The mighty Armored Beast exclaimed to his foe. Blackwing - Armor Master looked at his opponent, his opponent was an undefeated XX-Saber Gottoms, Armor Master had come to this region for the sole purpose to defeat the undefeated. XX-Saber Gottoms had defeated everybody in the region with his mighty partners, his 2 XX-Saber Faultroll's.

"Hmm Flash you sure are confident, but I guess you would have to be if you came to take on me and my partners all alone." Gottoms gloated in his heavy voice signaling his Faultroll's to finish off his foes.

Flash stood their with his head down, waiting for his opponent to stop his gloating.

"...Are you done running that hole on your face?" Armor Master said feeling pity for his opponent. This was a tactic Flash liked to use in battle, he would let his opponent feel as if they were doing so good, they would try less hard, and spend most of their time gloating. In simple words he would lead his opponent into a false seance of security. If he was able to get them to act like this, he would start to act confident, Making his opponent angry. This time his plan was working.

"Why, You litt-!" Gottoms yelled as he signaled both his Faultroll's to charge at their opponent.

A Smirk grew across the face of the Humanoid winged beast. He stood perfectly still until the moment right before we was going get struck by his opponents. Flash was known for his speed. That was actually how he had gotten his nickname.

"It's time I show you why they call me Flash" The Armor Master disappeared, and appeared right behind the 2 Warriors charging at him. Armor Master swept his arm horizontally and destroyed the two Warriors.

"How did you do that!?!" Gottoms yelled underestimating his opponent.

"Our Speed is still unmatched...Our will the same." Armor Master preached.

"Ours...?" Gottoms questioned as his face grew with disappointment.

Armor Master flew into the air signaling his comrades, Blackwing - Armed Wing, and Blackwing - Lone Silver Wind. Or as he likes to call them Spear and Lash.

"Spear! Lash! What say we finish this bafoon off!?" Armor Master preached. The 3 Winged Beast were an amazing sight to see, Their feathers and wings spread across the horizon as the 3 of them charge forward spinning so fast it seemed as the 3 of them had turned into a Spinning Beam of light.

------

"Great job Flash!" Armed Wings exclaimed as he patted his friend Armor Master, on the back. Armor Master had continued his undefeated streak, 67 Battles, a new personal best.

"...Spear, Flash...Do you realize what this means? It means we are the Champions of the Warrior Region!" Lash exclaimed to the heavens.

A helpless Beaver Warrior was frozen in place by an odd green light. The source of which coming from a heaving monstrosity covered with a thousand eyes (is that possible, he must have 200 at least). 'N-n-n-no, please don't it begged. The creature chuckled deeply and a sickening tongue licked the fangs surrounding the maw on its midsection. A deep sucking gale began from it and the creature was sucked in, vanishing into nothingness. The beast glew brightly and reflected in each eye was the warrior, but they closed immediataly. 'Now, where am I?' Cyclops inquired and immediataly ran into a tree.
