Being a Massachusetts resident myself' date=' [b']this hit especially close to home[/b]. He was truly an amazing person and set an example for the rest of Washington, one that they should follow.

inorite?

You couldn't get away from it today. He was an amazing man, though, and all politicians should follow his lead.

I saw it on the news earlier. Kinda depressing. End of an era' date=' if you ask me.

This.

I love how when MJ died that topic kept coming up. Here this is the first thread I've seen on it.

Who the hell is Ted Kennedy? (Yeah I'm stupid' date=' but I'm also not American)

He's a Kennedy. That alone should say a lot. If you don't know about the Kennedies, then IDK what to say

The Kennedy's had very bad luck. 2 (john F and Robert F. Kennedy) got assasinated, 3 (Joseph P. Kennedy, Jr., Kathleen Kennedy, and John F. Kennedy, Jr) died in plane wrecks, 1 (Michael LeMoyne Kennedy) Skiing acciednt, 1 tumor (Edward Moore "Ted" Kennedy), a drug overdose (David Anthony Kennedy), and a failed prefrontal lobotomy (Rose Marie Kennedy).

Not to many of them died of old age...

Like we got over the death of MJ, we will get over this.

But it will most likely take longer because he was more famous.

TBQH, I thought Michael Jackson's death was more... "hurtful" than Kennedy's death. Is hurtful the right word?

That's really sad to hear. Now our country will fall into the clutches of Communism with Obama! :/

What that a frsrs post?

frsrs = for serious

Yeah' date=' though his death was bad... One of the few things keeping Obama from turning the USA into Holy Hell.

I found his death a good thing.

I find that I get enjoyment out of someone's death < the suffering they caused while they were alive. I predict I will still enjoy his lack of life at least a few years from now. Yeah tumor!

...

but in all seriousness, he was a dirt bag who killed an innocent woman to avoid a DUI.
