Due to being bored of my other sets and being inspired by Umineko No Naku Koro Ni, I decided to make a set similar to ShadeZero's except it revolves around Umineko instead of Higurashi. I'll make this topic all spangly and nice soon with a booster and banner etc, but for now, here's an/some preview(s):

Once per turn, you can select 1 card in your opponent's hand. Declare either Monster, Spell or Trap Card. If the selected card is the same as the one declared, it is removed from play and your opponent loses 1000 Life Points. If you declared it wrong, you lose 1000 Life Points.[/align]

~Crossover Card With The Higurashi Set~

You can Special Summon this card from your hand by removing from play 1 "Furude Rika" in your Graveyard. When a monster your opponent controls declares an attack, you can destroy the attacking monster and return 1 monster you control (except this card) to your Deck. The Deck is then shuffled. If this card is destroyed by a card effect, return it to the bottom of your Deck.[/align]

The first card of the Umineko set is a Level 4 LIGHT Warrior-Type monster with a decent ATK. Because of that, he can be used in either LIGHT or Warrior decks. The effect is a luck based effect, which can be used to cause both effect damage and card disadvantage to your opponent. On its own, you have 1/3 chance to guess right, but with hand revealing effects, it can be used very well. For this card, my rating is 8.5/10.

It's quite hard to find decent pics of the Umineko characters. =(

 

I might have found some decent fanart for Frederica though.

 

As' date=' Umineko isn't as popluar as Higurashi an I found an extremely hard time finding pictures for minor characters.

So, your might have that same trouble I did, but with finding decent pictures of the main characters :'] XD

Also, 10/10 for Frederica :]

Ah, the second card of the Umineko set, this time combined with the other set - great idea, combining various sets is always good for new strategies! The first effect makes easier to summon this monster, and considering it has 2800 ATK, it can be used for its raw power. But its effects make it a truly wonderful card! If you manage to have enough fodders for its effect, you will be very well protected from attacks. The final effect provides an interesting protection for this one (and as there are cards which can bring cards removed from play back to the Graveyard, the re-summoning is possible, too. In total, I'm truly impressed by this card - I see no errors or balance issues there. My score is 10/10 for this card!

Heh, these are old. They're getting revamped.

 

Some ideas I'm having include having Monster Cards which are treated as Field Spell Cards (to match the Meta versions of the characters in the Meta-World) and monster cards which are like Chess Pieces, one for each character (to represent that the series is like a game of Chess), and a variety of new spells which involve names which are actual plays in a game of Chess etc (like Check-mate).
