「tea.leaf」
No, I'm not talking about the card, rather, the game style. Everyone has seen those episodes in season one with the Paradox Brothers? How do you think that game can be played in real life? How different would rules be? How may effects be altered? CrabHelmet
Considering how random and inconsistent the rules proved themselves to be during the mere three episodes in which they appeared, it seems to me that, like most of the game played at Duelist Kingdom, such a game would at the very least require every card's text to be rewritten entirely. Sunshine Jesse
The Catapult Turtle-Flying Castle episode made more sense then those D: I could see Yubel decks being meta in this format if their effects remained unchanged.
Mysty
Here are all the differences relating to the maze that I could find:• Labyrinth Wall is more like a Field Spell that takes up a 9x9 area. Monsters just summoned aren't placed on the maze, but right before it.• A monster can move as many spaces as its Level.• Polymerization causes Shadow Ghoul to lose its ATK-increasing ability, but it can travel inside the walls of the labyrinth, using no spaces. It also gets renamed Wall Shadow and cannot be attacked.• Jirai Gumo apparently is a Trap card that can be placed face-down on any space, but that space is marked with a spider. It also only has 2100 ATK and 1000 DEF. Jirai Gumo also reduces whatever it attacks through its trap effect to its original stats. They also first referred to it as Landmine Spider, and later as Jirai Gumo.• Apparently Kunai with Chain can transfer its ATK boost to other warriors. Also, two allied monsters can occupy the same space.• Magical Labyrinth changes the map however you want, just as long as no areas are blocked off.• Mystic Box doesn't change control of a Dark Magician placed in the box. It also moves the Dark Magician to the same place as the destroyed monster.• Despite the fact that Sanga is face-down, it's quite easy to tell that it's Sanga, negating the purpose of it being face-down.• Dungeon Worm can move any amount of spaces under the walls and attack anything. It also hides underground, but attacking the burrows can allow for the attack of the worm. It is also weak to fire, so it loses any ATK bonus not given to it by an equip card.• The hats hide the monsters in 4 consecutive places.• Monster Tamer increases the ATK of any monster your teammate controls by 600 and lets it be controlled by you during your turns.• Gate Guardian acts as all 3 separate monsters as well as one. Each piece can also negate an attack with an attack of its own each turn. Suijin also attacks everything in the maze, but didn't harm the Dark Magician. Gate Guardian can also attack as one monster or as each of its parts.• Summoned Skull has an electrical attack that can travel directly to Suijin.• Spellbinding Circle stops Gate Guardian from activating its effects.• Monsters that move by flying can't enter the labyrinth.• Riryoku takes away half the opponents' Life Points and add them to a monster's ATK points. It appeared to add one set of Life Points to each of Gate Guardian's remaining 2 sections. Riryoku also ends the turn.• Shift switches the places of the monsters. So yeah, many cards, if not all, would have to be reworded. Also, why would Yubel decks be meta in this labyrinth?

「tea.leaf」
Although, wouldn't it be interesting? There's even more strategy to it, and spontaneity. Every deck would main three Magical Labyrinth. Maybe it could be done like there's a Speed World with Speed Spells, Labyrinth Wall with Labyrinth Spells? OnSlaUghT
They have to make a new card games like dungeon dice monsters or capsule monsters, and we all know how great those series are. [/sarcasm]

Guest Lily
It's an interesting concept, but they would have to introduce new types and stuff for it. Such as the ability of Flying and such, for we dont know if the monsters actually USE there wings. This sux.Konami hates BW. This was around before BW. So technically, you cant say that >.>

Big Mac
The game sounds like it could be fun, but the time it would take to come up with/learn all the rules would be obnoxious. Still though, I would play.

Since Gate Guardian could attack any monster anywhere (or at least Suijin could) it wouldn't need to move into the labyrinth.

Since Gate Guardian could attack any monster anywhere (or at least Suijin could) it wouldn't need to move into the labyrinth. Oh k. Do you think that the Meteor of Destruction would have it's effect changed so that it could destroy the labyrinth and all monsters inside or something? Would a Synchro Monster be placed in the average positions of its materials? I would of thought that a Synchro would require all of there materials at the starting point. Mysty
Would a Synchro Monster be placed in the average positions of its materials? I don't think so. It would probably be placed either at the beginning or in either of the two places. I think a similar thing would happen with Fusions and Rituals. Or maybe the material would be required to occupy the same space or consecutive spaces and it gets summoned in any of the spots where the material are.
