[spoiler=Toxic Pokemons]

[spoiler=Grimmer Family]

363746.jpg363746.jpg

[spoiler=Grimmer "History"]Grimer are very misunderstood creatures. Grimer were first discovered in Toxic wastefields. They feed off the toxic sludge that gathers in such places. Because of this they have been known to occasionally form symbiotic relationships with Weezing, which give off fresh sludge that Grimer like to eat. They are surrounded by thick, viscous substance. It can be used:

1: To protect them from predators.

2: As a sort of sunscreen (grimers have light-sensitive skin)

They produce this slime in the same way snails and slugs do, but because of the thick sludge they eat, it comes out looking like tar. They pick up dirt and twigs in the slime which irritates them, and makes them even dirtier.

They have no bones in their actual body (which is usually a lot smaller than it looks) and move like slugs. The Ooze is very toxic and people are warned not to touch them since the mucus can badly irritate the skin.

For this reason i feel so sorry for the Grimer as they are very lovable creatures and crave love and attention. Because of their apearence and toxicity they are rarely caught and trained, but trainers who do catch them must wear a protective suit when handling them and must remeber not to neglect them as they get very lonely and depressed, since they cannot play with other pokemon. It is recomended that if you are serious about catching a grimer then you should either catch another grimer for company or another toxic waste pokemon like a koffing or weezing. In their current form they are not very dangerous (albiet very dirty and irritating to the skin) but its evolved form, Muk, can be dangerous and it is hard to tell Grimer and Muk apart except for their size.

[spoiler=Doduo Family]

363746x.jpg363746n.jpg

[spoiler=Duduo Lore]Doduo are shy creatures. They live in large groups called 'forests'. They are called this because as the Doduo graze with one head down while the other keeps watch. It is a rare quirk in nature to have two heads but has many advantages. The heads have small brains, each with a basic instinct imprinted in them, however emotion is separated between the two, one usually being more aggressive than the other. They share a consciousness through nural pathways so it is rare to see the two heads squabble. The heads also act as a backup, if attacked and in some way one of the heads is 'killed' the other can continue the body functions, though their ability to rationalize is severely reduced and are often picked off by predators later.

[spoiler=Koffing Lore]Koffing are actually genetically altered pokemon. Originally they were a type of floating mould, but a group of scientists wanted to see if they could speed up its evolution as it had amazing abilities to break down toxic waste. They succeded, however the didnt realise that it produced poisonus gas's aswell as distrying it. They imprinted a toxic warning into its dna that showed up on its skin, to warn anyone who got too close. The programme was thought terminated but unknown to them two had escaped and started to breed. Potentially this accident has become a good thing as the worlds toxic waste has been cut in half since then, but peope are still getting too close to these creatures and many people have been found to be extreamly allergic to them. Koffing can float like ballons as they produce hydrogen and methane within their body. When they want to go lower they release it from scared crators on their surface, letting out powerful gas's. They absorb toxic waste and rotting matter as they ahve no internal organs to speak of. The matter gets broken down into gas or energy for its poisonous body. Some have been known to live near volcanos and feed off the toxic gas and ash that is up there. But they are very volitile, and you must be very careful with them with fire because if the fire ignites the gas, they can make large explosions. Mentally they are aware of their surrounding and can take orders but they have a very low IQ and can easily get confused. that is why if any trainer chooses to capture one of these then they must take extreame caution.
