Memories.

What we create each and every second of our life. But do we bother to remember them?

Only if they're significant or worth it.

But that's not the point of this thread.

Name some of your precious or treasured memories, and why you believe so.

My second mind refuses to open its memory chamber for me for influential reasons, so I can't think of anything anymore. I'll just comment on your thoughts.

I was 5yrs old at the time.

We were leaving home.

My dad wasn't with us, and my mom had lied to me when she said "We're just gonna sleep over Auntie Marias for a little".

We had instead passed by my school where they had a large gathering, and I knew I wanted to go to it. (That school has since been closed down).

It was then I knew, I wouldn't see my dad for years.

I only saw him for the first time in 12yrs this past January.

Summer of my...7th grade year? Right before I moved; Two of my friends and I hung out every day doing stupid things. It was great.

My baptism.

Last year' date=' my friend died. :/

You remember your baptism? Don't people get baptized when they're like...a few months old? I know I was.

Catholics do. My Church believes that you need to be old enough to understand what baptism means before being baptized.

That the baptism symbolizes my pledge to God and my acceptance of Jesus as my savior.

Have I satisfied your curiosity, or are you going to underhandedly bash my religion some more?

Nah, I'm good for now. I don't want to start a major argument in another's thread.
