Yugioh 5ds: Into the Flume (still accepting and needs members!!!!!!)[Basic][PG-13]

well thats right. the flume from Pendragon mixed with yugioh. there will be 5 signers and 7 dark signers plus all 10 territories and two new ones. read the terriotories for they are very important. your character will need a specific deck type depending on the territory.

Denduron: It is a medieval territory with a crude monarchical government and six predominant tribes. The territory consists of fifteen continents and nine oceans, and possesses three suns; the climate is largely temperate. The population is 12,300,000. two tribes are the milago( a sorta stone aged tribe) and the beedowan( a little more civilized tribe and a little more advanced two.) Dueling is a regualr thing for tournaments on this terriotory.

Deck type: warrior or Beast or beast- warrior.

 

Cloral: It is a territory covered almost completely by water, though the citizens live on ships that act as islands. The exception is one island about five miles in diameter. Cloral has one sun. There are currently 512 ships (known as habitats) in commision all over Cloral serving different purposes.

First Earth:

It is a trip back in time, to Earth in the year 1937. During this year, Joseph Stalin was the ruler of the Soviet Union, recently recovering from Leon Trotsky's plot to assassinate him and overthrow the government. Franklin Delano Roosevelt was the USA president. This year was one of the final years of the Great Depression. Domino city dosent exist so the dueling capital is good old NYC.

Third Earth:

earth in the year 5014. At some point in Third Earth's history, warring countries put aside their differences and collaborated to make life better for all. Most human cities moved underground to better preserve the environment. Other colonies include Space Colonies and ocean colonies. Some people still live on the surface, which has "taken a big step backward". It is now full of trees and aspects of nature. Some people living underground go on vacations to the surface. technology has advanced deeply and with it so has dueling. now computers use holograms and voices. and speed duels are call Light- speed duel due to the ability to travel at the speed of light.

Veelox:

It is a technologically advanced territory that has mastered virtual reality and disease control. Since Dr. Zetlin's invention of the virtual reality simulator Lifelight, 99.9% of the population spends their time in their own fantasies. Lifelight and its users (known as jumpers) are constantly maintained by phaders and vedders. Veelox has 48 continents and 212 countries. It is 70% land.

dueling is practiced through "fantasy duels" where jumpers duel against people in there own fantasies.

Eelong:

It is a tropical jungle terriotry with two intelligent species, the klee and gars. The klee are intelligent jungle cats with opposable thumbs and a viceroyship government. The gars are bipedial hairless apes (a.k.a. humans) that were treated as pets by the klee until after the events of Black Water. Eelong has five continents and a largely tropical climate.

Zadaa:

It is a desert territory with little civilization. There are two civilized tribes, the Batu and the Rokador; all others are cannibalistic. The Batu spend time on the surface and believe in harsh, constant training. The Rokador have created an underground tunnel network that can not only house what is left of their entire race but also control the flow of all the rivers of zadaa. Dueling is one of the only things that the cannibal tribes are civilized for.

Quillan:

It is a monopolized territory ruled by Blok, a communistic company that has taken over all enterprises and created several new ones. The heads of Blok are known as the Trustees, five men and five women. Little is known about the territory before Blok took over the entire media. the games are exciting but if you lose you................................. die.

Surprisingly one of the games is dueling.

Ibara:

It is, in a sense, Second Veelox. It takes place 300 years in Veelox's future, in which a group of 40 Phaders and Vedders have colonized an island called Ibara, hence the territory name. Several villages, the largest of which is called Rayne, exist on this island. No civilization exists elsewhere. A nomadic group known as the Flighters has spread over the rest of Veelox, trying to find whatever food and living space there is left. They often have to compete with wild animals for city space. Ibara the island still celebrates there getting there by holding duel tournaments.

Animagusca:

A terriotory where humans can turn into animals. other then that it is like a jungle invested earth. with tree canopies covering the cities.

Cyybtar:

A territory where people can become cyb er energy an can travel through the internet. in real life! so if you get a virus most likely you die.

they can create there own cyber life and can switch between at any time.

Jeriax:

Jeriax was a nasty world, covered in smog and acid rain with no greenery or soil in sight. The territory was industrialism run rampant, as the oceans were pretty much gone, and 30 billion people were crammed into the hive-cities and habitational sectors. Jeriax also had a large net-like structure in near-planetary orbit, which was suspended by the many orbital elevators, called "Towers" locally, dotted across the landscape. Jeriaz also had several large moons, which were mostly carved out and not visible due to the constant overcast.

Territory(Deck type will depend on the territory): Originally Veelox, but he is no longer part of that territory. He is actually of a Traveler group a few generations removed from the current one.

Bio: A former Phader from the Principality of Deelix, Dak became disgruntled at his job and sought something greater than checking on Jumpers and eating gloid...until a stranger requested a very complex simulation, and asked him to come along. This jump took Dax to a virtual version of Ibara, Veelox several centuries after a devastating collapse of Lifelight.

Dax became enamored with the strange girl, and eventually discovered that he could hop the flumes as well, traveling to various territories, and discovered many other territories outside of the part of Halla known to most Travelers, and, in fact, is rumored to be the one who connected Cybbtar and Aminagusca to Halla, and might be working on a new project.

Now he is involved in the current civil war as a neutral party, but is willing to dispense his vast knowledge of the various worlds to whomever is willing to undertake an errand for him.

He possesses a Koa'ki Meiru Deck generally containing whatever elements are native to the territory he is currently in.

Appearance: A master of shapeshifting, he can appear as whomever, or whatever, he wants, but usually takes the form of a spiky blonde-haired, blue-eyed caucasianesque teenager in casual clothing. His Duel Device can also change form, ranging from a HUD and Duel Projector on Veelox to a Duel Blade on Denduron to a Duel Skimmer on Cloral.

Bio: Matqel was a great Lightspeed Duel Champion on Third Earth. Then one day he grew tired of fighting in lightspeed, and made it public. Although the resulting uproar drove him to near exile, the Birthmark on his hand is well worth it. He fights with his treasured Ryoma-ru monsters.

Appearance: Not skinny, but without much muscle either, he stands at about 6'0, and wears a black jacket decorated with lightning bolts.

Bio: Born and raised in Cyybtar, Riese was given a French name, in which he thought rather awkward. His parents, and generations from beyond, were French. As he grew up, he came to develop a loving for Duel Monsters, but very rarely did he Duel. He felt the game was childish. As time progressed, the game got more interesting to him, mostly due to the "cheap" Shadow Duels and such. He decided to Duel a man one day. A man in black coat, with purple lining. A Dark Signer. Riese beat the man, smiling at his accomplishment at his first Duel won. The Dark Signer knocked Riese out, stealing him from his home. Deep in the bowels of the territory Cyybtar, 3 Dark Signers had gathered around the boy. Riese woke up to see these people, attempting to run, but strapped down. The Signers had been running tests on the boy, attempting to find out what made him tick. They insighted an emblem on his head. It was a Seal of Darkness. From this point on, he belonged to the Dark Signers.

 

Name: Daiumi Touketsu

Age: 18

Territory from: Cloral

Bio: At the young age of 12, he was cast away from the main island by his family for reasons unknown. Alone on a small boat, tossed about by the seas, he eventually found himself near the North Pole. Crawling onto a small ice cap, starved of food and water, he lay down and died. But then, something mysterious happened. The powers of the netherworld saw the anger inside Daiumi, and brought him back to life as a Dark Signer. Now he does not travel by boat, but by his ice cap, a huge creature brought to life by negative energy. As a Dark Signer, he is driven purely by the hatred he feels for his family who cast him out to die.

Apperance: Pure white skin, black Dark Signer robes, bears the symbol of the Whale.

Tyler Gyer was sitting near the flume waiting for his third Earth friend Matquel. "hmmm..... Dax has been distant lately since Gina became a dark signer. I wonder where he is." Tyler said. He had a temptation to check on him and Veelox.

Dax stood back for a second and marveled his work as his latest masterpeice, a flume, was completed, allowing Travelers to go to the territory he discovered, Jeriax. Jeriax was a nasty world, covered in smog and acid rain with no greenery or soil in sight. The territory was industrialism run rampant, as the oceans were pretty much gone, and 30 billion people were crammed into the hive-cities and habitational sectors. Jeriax also had a large net-like structure in near-planetary orbit, which was suspended by the many orbital elevators, called "Towers" locally, dotted across the landscape. Jeriaz also had several large moons, which were mostly carved out and not visible due to the constant overcast.

Dax thought the place, which used FIRE-Attribute, Warrior-type, Machine-type, and/or Fiend-type Monsters, as well as monsters that would be immune to the poisonous gas and acid rain of the outside, would be a welcome addition to Halla.

He then shouted "Denduron!" to test out the flume, which opened up in a swirl of light.

The flume was hidden near a large ventilation shaft, which was almost never frequented except for the occasional Abhuman, a local term for a mutated humanoid that lived in the Deeps, the lowest parts of the planet, which would keep it safe, but the flume was (relatively) close to Cibripa Hive, allowing it to be easily protected, yet convenient for newcomers.

Dax then took a last look around, then stepped into the flume.

 

A few minutes later, and countless planes away, Dax emerged in a dank, cold cave, then walked out of the cavern and looked out on the three suns of Denduron, smiling that yet another territory was added to Halla.

As his opponent's Axe Raider charged at his open field, Matquel smirked.

"I activate my Trap, Draining Shield! This allows me to negate your monster's attack, and gain Life Points equal to its ATK."

Challenger: 1500

Matqel: 300-->2000

"Damn. I end my turn."

"Now then, it's time I ended it. I draw! And Summon Ryoma-ru Nikton! When he's Normal Summoned, I can add a Ryoma-ru monster to my hand. And then he attacks your Axe Raider!"

"You're insane. Axe Raider has more attack than your walking blackout over there."

"But you forget, my Ryoma-ru monster allows me to Special Summon another from my hand! I call Ryoma-ru Lansed to the field! And with Nikton's effect, you take damage equal to half its DEF."

Challenger: 1500--> 1000

"Then I activate the effect of Lansed, dealing you 700 damage. Finally, I activate Manufacted Lightning, dealing you 1000 damage. It appears I've won," he said as the challenger's Life Points.

"Dammit. How could I be beaten by a has-been?!"

The challenger yelled this at himself as he left the compound. While Matqel felt a little offended, he was more focused at the incredible throbbing pain on his right arm, where his Mark of the Dragon was glowing furiously. He knew what this meant. Another gate had been opened. He had to check on the other Flume Signers, see if they also felt this much pain when the gates opened.

Tyler felt the pain and knew something was wrong. His arm glowed. "Third Earth!" he shouted. He disappereaed in a swivel of light. He exited to see matquel. ":Mat quel. did you fell that surge of a new teriotry? it was like what happenmed when cyybtar and animagusca was added. that means one thing........ Dax." He said to matquel.

IC: Dax then went to Quillan and, using a conjured credit card and identification badge, enjoyed a wonderful siesta at a resort usually reserved for Blok employees, then, after several weeks at the resort, went off on his next project: LLadi'e, a strange, alien world filled with ruins and strange artefacts, both magical, scientific, and somewhere in between.

Matqel wasn't surprised to see Tyler coming out of Third Earth's flume.

"Indeed. He's been quite active as of late. Do we go and explore this new territory? Or should we get Second Earth's Signer as well?"

"My descendant Gina is a dark signer unfortunatley. I think we should go to Ibara and check on my friend Wensil(an NPC). Matquel has anything changed since i was last here?" Tyler said looking at the new symbol on the flume signer ring.

"Nothing that I know of. Champions rise and fall as they always do, but no one unique or different. I do have some people looking in on it occasionally." He came back to the idea of leaving. "Ibara? I'm alright with that." He stepped to the flume.

"IBARA!"

A veritable picture of the world appeared in place of the landscape of First Earth.

"After you."

"thanks." tyler said as he stepped foward and they were whisked off into the flume. the weird music turned island-ish. as they appeared in a cave. "the village of rayne should be due east. Wensil keeps the flume monitered. he should soon meeet us." Tyler said leading maquel onto the surf.

Gina was walking down ground zero. she thought of the turning point nine years ago. The flume signers won. But their "World Trade Center" took the fall. Tyler was their and they dueled. that was when he found out about her and her dark signer buddies. she found the flume off the side of the consturction zone. "Quillan!" she said as the flume whisked her off on her trail to 'stalk' Dax.
