First Day of School

Recommended Posts

How was your first day of school?

Be specific, and also mention whether you're in high school, elementary school, or college/university.

As for me, I freeloaded in my art teacher's classroom (IT WAS LOL), and I got a new Computer Science teacher. Some Malaysian teacher who's in his first year of teaching in my school. He seems nice.

As for the stuff that sucked, my English class had the STUPIDEST game ever (which my friend and I just screwed around in), and I actually got math homework from a teacher that talks like those evil teachers inside Harry Potter.

"There's no escaping my class... Muahahahahahaha!!!!!"

Etc, etc, etc...

How was yours?

Well, I just got home from the first day of my Senior year (I'm in high school). It went alright. My classes suck, though. For some reason there are A LOT of underclassmen in my classes, and I only know a handful of underclassmen in my school, so I don't have too many friends in any of my classes.

Other than that it was fairly good. It was nice to see a lot of my friends again.

I kind of hate you for starting school so late... My high school started like, 3 weeks ago. As is, my college started 2 weeks ago. :/

Eh. Correge is different. Really glad I moved in early, otherwise I would have gotten completely lost on my way to classes...but then, my sense of direction has always sucked.

Oh right. I forgot to mention that my first day was also a half day, but in a sense, is shorter, because I don't have class during the first period. (Thus the reason why I freeloaded in my art teacher's class.)

Also mention when you started school, if not today.

I had a half day September 3rd. Senior orientation. Basically you just go in, receive your schedule, then visit your class and receive information on supplies you'll need for that class and whatnot. Then after that, I had off until today. Today was my first full day.

That so doesn't count as a school day.

That's what I said. But, my school seems to think so because they say it was our first day of school.

We get our timetables one week or so before school starts. I got mine on the second.

I'm planning to have it changed, so my English goes into first period, and although I won't get to sleep longer, I'll have a super funny teacher as my English teacher.

He runs around, yells a lot, and is generally barbaric. Who wouldn't love a teacher like that?

Nothing much happened.

Except in Digital Communications, wherein our teacher let us listen to our MP3's, which was good, I guess. Except that I didn't bring mine that day. >>;;

And lunch is later then usual.

Other then that, it was just an average school day.

Oh sorry about asking about your First Day in the Question for Mia thing. Anyways, my day was alright.

I'm in Middle School, so Elementary for you I guess?

Bus Stop in the Morning: I stood there for like, 30 mins waiting, the bus stop soon got filled with 6th graders and a few 7th and 8th. We had to wait so long, thinking we were gonna be late, but we weren't :D So thats a great start!

1st Period: One of my pals, was in my Spanish Class. So there we were, quietly talking about shooter games while the teacher was rambling about things in spanish and what not.

3rd Period: Little Singing, little conversing, blah.

FIT (No I'm not fat, its a free time thing.): Got my agenda, did a scavenger hunt, and stacked almost all of the chairs =_=.

5th Period: Saw a few friends of mine in the class, but I decided to sit at the back with one of them. Then one of my best buddies comes :D So there were 3 of us in the back, making jokes and talking about things we saw on TV and what not. Then Lunch was called so we left.

Lunch: This is where my day took a turn for the worst >.> I came in, sat with all of my friends, and one of them asks me, what team im on. I say Blah blah blah, and he laughed and said I was in the stupidest team. ._. That just really put me off, cause a few of my friends were in another team (Smart but snotty and obnoxious from what I heard.) But the rest of lunch was cheery.

Back to 5th Period: Same old, Same old. Got a piece of candy when we left. Basically, we thought the class was boring.

7th Period: Talking with my friends again, this dude made me laugh so many times, he's hillarious. Anyways, we had to go watch Obama's Speech about staying in school. We came back and then turned in our Summer Homework, then that was basically it.

Big Business at the Bus: Well, I was running around looking for it. I finally found it and plopped down in the seat next to my 8th Grade Friend. Soon, the bus was overloaded and everyone going to the elementary school I was getting dropped at was kicked off the bus. So we had to walk back and wait for another bus to come pick us up.

......

......

......

And that was my day! :D Hope you guys enjoyed my really long story.

In my experience, usually English and History teachers are the best teachers in the school.

My first day of school was boring. I got there, met up with some friends, complained about how I miss summer, got my schedule, complained about how I miss summer, listened to constant speeches about how since this is our last year of high school it's going to go by too quickly, listened to a speech which told us we're the leaders of the school and the grade 7's look up to us and will turn out like us(I lol'd so hard, because when we were in grade 7, the Grade 11's were total d-bags), complained about how I miss summer, then went home.

I hate the first day of school. It gets progressively easier, but the first week is such a pain.
