Felix Culpa
As I stated in an earlier post, my family would own a plot of land called "Vermont" if Britain had won the war, which in all odds they should have. My Irish relatives back in Ireland must be cursing the odds of their bet. In the end, history changing would have brought my family fortune and I would rule... Awesome life except eventually after the British empire decayed, America would declare its independence again and go on to win the war. Surprising how much history changing or against your odds can change one's life. Discuss and share. Do not troll or spam on my watch. You will be reported. OMGAKITTY
It is pretty lol that the MOST POWERFUL EMPIRE IN THE WORLD lost to a bunch of hillbilly rednecks. XD
Infinitus
Quite unlikely, yet it happened. What happened happened, and I believe that things like that happen for a reason. Besides, if I remember right, it was a close war. Also, what makes you think that they SHOULD have won the war? Would the world be better? Perhaps, but we will never know what happened, because it DIDN'T HAPPEN. They won, IMO, because of their drive for freedom. They knew that they weren't going to back down, that or they'd die. Some died, but they did not die in vain.[/dorkyspeech] Plus Washington and his stratigeez. It is pretty lol that the MOST POWERFUL EMPIRE IN THE WORLD lost to a bunch of hillbilly rednecks. XD What do you call George Washington, then? Larry the Cable Guy?

XD Back in the 1700's, we didn't differenciate between morons from the South and smartasses from the North. Everyone was dumb back then.

Dark
Talking about changing history hurts my brain. Just like when you talk about the Universe dissapearing... You cannot change history, so this thread serves no purpose. In the hypothetical situation Britain did win, no one can predict what would happen. Felix Culpa
I can predict, however, Dark, but it would not come true.

XD What do you call George Washington' date=' then? Larry the Cable Guy?[/quote'] America was considered considerably less civilized than Great Britain back in the day. Still is, lol. And the "fight for freedom" was so much bullshit. Americans paid far less taxes than the citizens in Britain. The Revolutionary War was completely uncalled for.
