Cyber Altair
Build a computer. I can't tell you how much money you will save. You can build a great computer and a gaming system that could last you for at least 2 years until the DX11 cards get cheap.

Cyber Altair
All he needs to do is buy the parts, get a case and hire someone to build it or just ask for someone to do so if he buys all the part from a local shop.

But you'd get exactly what you needed on it.
Cyber Altair
He'll take what, 30-40$. Also you can buy the parts for like 800$.

I'm not 100% sure of the conversion rate but if I was unemployed / not making much money / saving for something and I knew how to then I probably would. I expect people enjoy putting together computers anyway.
Dark
Minimum wage is 7 bucks an hour after taxes. This job should at least pay 12 dollars an hour. So if the job takes 3.5 hours or less, this is a good price. If not, I'd ask for more money.

Dark
What shocks me is that you can buy seperate computer parts to make a whole computer. :/ I always thought they only sell certain parts, like batteries and whatnot.
Cyber Altair
They wouldn't take hourly wage >.> Just give them 40 bucks and give them a couple of hours to do it. Also it's easy to do so if you know where the cables and stuff goes.

♥ ЅϯᵲåώӀӞ℮ᴙʀɣ−ɴɨɨ−ƈħåɴ ♥
If you guys read the first post, ZXP wants a laptop. Not a desktop. And CA, stop telling people who specifically ask for laptops or laptop-related items to just get desktops. It's stupid and utterly useless advice to give. Yes, desktops are better. Yes, desktops are cheaper. But if people want laptops, you can't just tell them to get a desktop, because that doesn't help in any way whatsoever. Dismal Euphony
i build mine koputer it nice man Riveting tale, chap. Anyway, www.tigerdirect.com Go there. Seriously, they have tons of stuff. You're bound to find something that meets your needs, or is at least good enough to settle for. They have reasonable prices as well. And if you can't find anything by just simply browsing, they have really helpful customer support representatives. A good friend of mine was looking for a laptop that had to meet his specifications. He called them, talked to a guy on the phone and he helped him find a laptop that was pretty much exactly what he was looking for.
