Just list your top 5 games that you've played, and a few comments about each if you like =)

My list:

1. Assassin's Creed

You haven't lived if you haven't played this game. Period.

2. F.E.A.R. Series

Intense, exciting gunplay with truly creepy horror elements reward you with a kickass gaming experience.

3. Crysis

Console-Whore says: Y DNT WE GET CRYSIS 4 XBOX AND PLAYSTATIN 3

Person With Common Sense says: Becuse you suck.

4. Prototype

I never knew killing people for no reason could be so much fun! In the game I mean... Yeah...

5. Prince of Persia Trilogy

Yeah they're a bit old, but fun still. The new one sucks though (I'm not just biased because I haven't played it...).

1. Pokemon

Hours logged on this are insane. Haven't played in a while.

2. Yu-Gi-Oh! Ultimate Masters World Championship 2006

First realistic AND great Yu-Gi-Oh! game. Have almost beaten it completely.

3. Portal

"Please place the weighted storage cube on the 1500-Megawatt Aperture Science Heavy Duty Supercolliding Superbutton." Enough said.

4. Trials HD

I know it's really new, but this game is so awesome I can almost stand just watching someone play it.

5. Half-Life

Love the universe. Hate those teleporting alien things in the portal room.

1. Metal Gear Solid 4: One of the few games that got me to play through it several times, very fun with challenges the game provides and the ones you can make up for yourself. I found the story compelling, but i'm the freak who likes convoluted stories that make little sense anyway.

2. Warcraft 3: the custom maps, seriously. Who has played parasite, metastasis, Vuens DnD, and many more? Probably the game I have the most hours in.

3. Half Life 2: Pretty much the same as above, i just like mod games with the people who put in lots of effort to make epic games. Zombie Master, Eternal Silence etc.

4. Resistance 2: Just my main FPS, and if there is something i like about as much as convoluted stories, its one that leaves plenty of gaps for your imagination. Not to mention the ending...

5. Pokemon Gold: Honestly I think the G/S/C was the best primarily because it allowed Johto and Kanto. Not to mention it involved some continuity e.g. Cinnabar eruption.

Pokemon Crystal: The best Pokemon game.

Need for Speed Underground: The new ones are not as exciting as this.

The Legend of Zelda, Ocarina of Time: Probably the best game of history.

Super Mario World: I spent hours and hours trying to discover all the secrets.

Final Fantasy Tactics Advance: I liked it and now I'm playing the 2 in the DS.

1. Street Fighter 4

- Brought my favorite game series to the current gen consoles, flawlessly and then some. If you don't like this game, pick up an arcade stick and shove it where the sun don't shine.

2. Tetris

- Don't know why? gtfo.

3. Megaman Legends (1 and 2)

- Brought Megaman to the RPG format, with great success. Sort of an underdog, even among the failed X Games. It's still a great game and deserves a current gen title.

Final Fantasy 8

- Flawless storyline, emotional rollercoaster and a great battle system. Need I say more?

Ooh and Rinoa = Hotness

... Thats it for now. Can't think of 5.

In no parsnickular order:

Final Fantasy 9:

Awesome gameplay, simple to learn, but takes a true master to get all of the secrets.

Tetris:

My anti-drug.

Burnout 3: Takedown:

Best of the series. Silver Lake S-Bound is MY turf.

Tony Hawk's Undergound:

Another best of series game.

The creative levels and epic secret characters are made of win.

Pokemon Emerald:

Who doesn't love it?

It also has an awesome Let's Play of it, involving a retarded Ralts.

G/S/C were my favorites, because that's when I started playing the series. I had Silver and Crystal, and I played each one multiple times. I like the second generation of Pokemon the best, they were pretty original. Dunsparce = WIN

I've actually been playing 2009 at the same time as 2006 (on emulators). It's awesome because you can use the touchscreen for almost the entire game. The cards are super new compared to 2006, though. When I played it for the first time I was dueling against a deck of completely new cards I'd never seen.

Trials HD is epic. The gameplay is so simple, but it's still so exciting. Apparently it's like a modern day Excitebike.

Half-Life is also epic. It's one of if not the best FPS ever made. It's very hard, but I still love playing it. I've recently taken a break from it because I'm stuck in the room with those aliens that shoot fireballs at the scientist, whom you're supposed to protect so he can open the portal to Xen. Damn it, that part is hard!

Portal. One of my favorite games ever. Required playing. This game is smart, funny, and exciting. It operates on a very simple concept (in one portal, out the other), but the puzzles are sometimes very complex. There are no cutscenes, and the story is told through the narrative of GLADoS, the AI controlling the Aperture Science compound. You're pretty much a lab rat in the game, trying to figure out how to pass the puzzles. It's cool how Half-Life and Portal take place in the same universe. If this was a game review (which it kind of almost sounds like :?) I'd give Portal 10/10. Also, it's universally acknowledged that the only negative thing about Portal is that it is very short, like if you were given only two slices of the best pizza you ever had.

I'm an old strategy lover, so the list has what I think are the best strategy games!

1. Red Alert 2 (+- Yuri's Revenge)

I could play this game from the 1st to the last mission a million time, and it wouldn't get boring!

2. Diablo 2 (My favorite non-strategy)

I usually play with Necromancer, although I think that Druid is stronger (once Mephisto dropped me Kuko Shakaku's Bow in Normal, I LOLed so hard!)

3. Civilization 3 (+- Conquests)

4. Heroes 3 and 5 (5th is basically the same game as 3rd)

5. Spore or How to learn Darwinism the easy way :D
