~/Coolio Prime\~
Roar can be mained in a few deck builds, and the flexibility it has exceeds this card's few benefits.

Crimson General
-.- I think people are taking the title to literally... It's much different then TR, I even mentioned it. This card is, and should be used in a different way. I'm still on the fence though. I Like it, but I see problems/ anything I can think for it something else does better. You side Roar to save yourself from OTKs. Ive been maining Roar for the last 3 formats. Ive never once regretted it either. Saving my Gale or my DAD, as Corporal said, is much more + to me than saving my lifepoints from an empty field.

metalflygon08
could you Use Gorz and this at the same time if you recieved a direct attack with no cards out? I'm thinking no, cause Gorz wouldn't be able to summon without battle damage being recieved, or if the Thing does go to the field to negate the attack, then you control cards, and can't summon gorz? right? werewolfjedi
I think it's great, and I have to say it is a negate attack, not a roar, on the fact that it is a response to an attack, and you/your opponent can't sneak in 1 attack by declaring the battle phase. plus, it does only need a direct attack, not an open field, so you could random combos with this and stuff like absolute end, just to be random. threatening must be set, and if I kill it, you are forced to activate it to let it have any use, and that means effect spam time. ( hello chaos sorcerer) cyber valley must be summoned, taking up your normal for the turn, and it must be the target of the attack to end the battle phase, so I can attack your other monsters first, or I could book of moon it first. this litle guy does not have those problems, instead it just needs a direct attack, which isn't all that uncommon these days. Exiro
Also, for people who still don't get it, this is the D.D. Crow version of TR. And there was a reason people used to run D.D. Crow over The Transmigration Prophecy.
